Decent small course. Lots of trees and thick brush off fairways. Tight lanes.

Not an enjoyable experience even when the small fairways are recently mowed

Rough is horrible right now. Hole 2 don't mess or say good bye to your disc. 8s tee to close to 2s fairway. No pads, but the real issue is the maintenance here.. they mow but not much. And they really needed to focus on trimming the course and all the trees and growth.. I'm sure it was once a great 9 holer.. but its far from it now.

Small, simple par 3 course that goes through the forest

This course features dirt tee pads that are marked with signs. Basket placement makes good use of the trees on the course which can make them tough to see. The course could use signage directing players from pin to tee. Udisc is very helpful for navigating. A fun little course that is well worth playing. Would be rated higher with tee pads and better signage.

Not a bad 9 hole course. Definitely better to play late fall or in the winter. Thorns and weeds aren't bad that time of year.

This is a short beginner 9 hole course... all par 3s with the longest being around 270 feet. I played it in November when the weeds are dead..so no trouble finding discs. But yes this course lives up to its name. THORNS. I was surprised by the one reviewer who said the course was blocked the day he wanted to play... by goats. I know goats will eat anything including thorny bushes... and this is the latest trendy thing to do environmentally... ... but this course doesn't need goats. It needs a park maintenance guy or gal with a heavy duty weed whacker. Just wait until fall when the thorny bushes and stems are exposed. Two hours and two weedeater gas tankfuls later whacking thorny bushes in the rough..... down to the ground will be all it takes. Yes, the dang thorn bushes will grow back... Just chop em down each fall. Easy... peesy! There are several challenging holes where trees block the route to the basket. #3 has a huge pine tree just 20' directly in front of the basket. #4 has the basket in a little "tree cave" for the last 20 feet. Each tee pad is all dirt...with some exposed tree roots on a few pads. The tee pad signs are on little posts and give you an overhead view of the hole... And how to throw it. No next tee signs... So use UDisc if first time playing. Distances between baskets and next tee are short and on mowed paths. Fairways are fairly tight on most holes. What really brings down this course in the ratings are the absolutely pathetic baskets. Only 2 stars. The good news is the baskets have big blue numbers against orange background on the top... so easy to see the baskets in the woods.... at least the numbers part. The bad news is these baskets have been heavily beat up.... and then heavily "fixed" by some DIY welder in their home workshop. Or the park maintenance shed. They have used old tires as a basket base to dump about 300 pounds of concrete into. Junkyard baskets! Then, they stuck the basket steel pole in the middle of that concrete... and let it set. You can't budge these baskets now. Not that anyone would want to steal them! You can tell these baskets were old Innova baskets or some such.... because you can still see some lettering under the paint around the basket rim at the top. They put back in only one set of crappy rusty steel chains (not two sets as normal) They bent and welded REBAR in a circle.... to hang the chains. Hilarious sloppy work! Then they used a stick of rebar to hold the basket number sign up. And they kept the old original rusted bent/broken in places basket steel below. Then they rattle can spray painted the entire thing in hideous tan paint. Maybe just so the basket could be extra camouflaged against the trees and grass? This is a good example of what happens when a park maintenance crew has more time than money. Boss says: We can't spend $700 each on new baskets... we'll just fix the old ones. Where's that old rebar? So... the baskets are usable.... But just barely. Still had fun on this course.... but doubt if I will ever return.

Way too easy to lose disc's, looks appealing on paper because of the short holes, but overall a negative experience for me. My legs were bleeding because of the thick spiny bushes that covered almost every thing off the green, there is also 50 deer worth of droppings on hole 8.

Thorns are prevalent but the late spring wasn’t so bad for them

Nothing too special but worth a play. Short technical holes, dirt tees, older baskets. Thorns are not that bad, only come into play on shanks.

The thorns on holes 1,2, and 6-9 are very bad. This course is dangerous for beginners and probably shouldn’t exist. Only positive is that hole 4 is a fun tunnel shot.

It's blocked off for goats to roam the course. Must be to lazy to just mow the grass. Waste of a drive out.

Homemade baskets are sketchy. Fairways are so covered in thorns that you may as well be throwing over water. I guess it’s better than no course…but not by much.
