Maybe the most non-disc golf friendly disc golf course I’ve ever played. I imagine they installed 9 baskets in hopes that it could draw more young people to their church, and when it didn’t work they forgot about it. Giving it a star and a half because it did have teepads.
@tylerzmoore
Small 9 hole located on church property. Has a good mix of distance variation, but low shot variety with most holes being pretty straightforward. Teepads are concrete and in good condition, but they are a little on the shorter side. There is signage on all teepads showing distance and layout. Baskets are older, but in good shape. However they’re mounted at odd heights with some being extremely low and others being slightly higher than normal. On hole 1, you throw through a covered patio. Hole 2 has an extremely narrow fairway and huge scrubs in the way off the teepad. Hole 3 throws towards what appears to be an occupied home. Hole 4 throws over parking lot. Hole 5 and 6 are pretty straightforward with briars patches on the left side. Hole 7 throws back out into the field, but tee pad is extremely close to 6’s basket. Hole 8 throws towards another building. Hole 9 throws towards the same occupied residence as hole 3. Overall is better than nothing, but could use major maintenance and possibly a redesign to avoid buildings and parking lots.
@mr3putter
don’t throw discs you like, cause you’ll find a parking lot on some of the holes
@mattkilbey25
Super thick trees on the left of hole 2 don’t throw if you don’t think you can throw straight or right, you WILL lose your disc
@zortag
Decent little pitch and putt, in good condition, short tee boxes but also short holes. I probably wouldn’t play it when people are around for services as fairways play close to parking and sidewalks. I’d be nervous with a few of my kids here as some holes and tees are close to buildings with windows... In an unrelated note, I would definitely recommend this church for those looking for God!
@mineralman88
Grass is nice. Nothing else appealing about this course. Ugly buildings. A few trees. No shade. No amenities. Side of the course is covered in EXTRAORDINARILY thick briars. You will lose a disc if you’re not careful and or not willing to damage your clothes and skin. There are so many more options around to never come back here again.
@mcspider42
Decent little 9 hole course. If you live nearby and want something to do, go for it. Otherwise, you could go elsewhere.
@juliuse09
Good for starting players.
@purplesuede22
Lots of fun! Very creative course.
@garipopescul
Good beginner course quick and fun, first birdie
@bigbaddawson
A pleasant, very open course that plays around church property. The fairways are mostly wide open and straight. The only real issue with the course is that there are multiple risky holes. A bad shot could easily lead you to knocking out a window or otherwise throwing into a church building.
@donbursell
Great 9-hole stop on our cross country trip
@heyfire
Not bad! If you don’t have a lot of time but want to play a quick round, this is it. Not challenging but hole 6 and 2 are little challenging. Don’t understand the design and why the basket itself are so short. By myself took me 35 mins to play 9 holes , birdie all holes aside from 2.
@tristenmcgowen
Hole 2 is… Questionable at best. The tee pads are short, and baskets are hard to see even when facing them, but the course is well maintained.
@fletcherblue
Ok, it's a neat course, but it's got some risky lines. I lost two discs and beat in two more badly with the over road shots.... It's a cool course but it's dangerous for discs
@flatlandgumby
Main layout is fun and manageable but hole 2 is risky. mapped out an alternate for some longer holes and more manageable lines. 2 baskets werent used so the map has ALOT of crossover but after 1 playthrough it isnt too confusing and flows decently. Tried to eliminate risky thorns and open up the building lines and make parking lot carries smaller. Anything longer than the original par 4 I went ahead and made par 4 for course consistency. Its not the best but this layout feels less risky.
@woodywoodpecker
Course is rated at 1 star - unplayable. Multiple fairway obstructions to include buildings w/ glass windows, cars, bushes, and thickets. If you want to try this course, head to the back parking lot and you'll find the first tee. Be cautious about wind, because you will either lose a disc on the roof, take out a window or dent a car.
@nfrazier
Very close to buildings. Blind shots around buildings and through parking lots. Decent when no one is there.
@jonlucas
Nice short church course. Actually pretty challenging in the wind. Kept up well and easy to navigate.
