"I've only played the short layout on the new redesign and although I'm glad UNC is taking an interest in the sport, the short layout was pretty mediocre at my last outing. Specifically the transitions between 4-5 and 9-10, which seem like longer walks than the previous holes. The tee pad for 13 is directly in the early fade line for a RHBH from hole 12. I'd be interested to see if any of the other layouts have better flow or if it's just another safari course at UNC."

"This new layout is awesome!!! 2 Island holes, 2 shots that go down between lines of trees, multiple par fours (depending on set up) and Nicely placed obstacles. I played the opening tournament I got to play both the presidential (tournament) layout as well as the gold layout. there is also a blue layout for when school is in and it is similar but much simpler, easier and safer for students who are walking paths. Definitely worth a trip to try it out! "

"College campus course between buildings with well maintained fields. Concrete tees. Fairly wide open, some trees, not too technical. It's an active college campus, lots of people walking between holes. "

"It's my home course, played the area even before baskets. Fun course with mostly open holes. Play hole 4 from the deck behind the tee box for an added challenge!"

"Tons of wasps/yellow jackets in the dead grass areas of most holes. You can hear them Humming at the Tee box for hole 2. Walk slow and they are not a problem, just a friendly heads up!"
