Beautiful setting. Mountains behind the front of the school, open country feel behind it. Great spacing as the layout weaves across campus. • Smart design in mostly open fields. The designer uses nearly every tree as an obstacle. Standouts include the double mando on #10, single mando on #17, and well-placed trees on #2, #3, and #8. Crosswinds add more challenge than the distance suggests. • Mix of open and lightly wooded holes. #5 is a fun 411-foot downhill shot with a raised basket and great backdrop. #6, #7, #11, and #15 add wooded variety, with #7 fully in the woods. #12 and #13 are also highlights. • Beginner and casual friendly. Good players will score low, but it’s a solid practice and commuter course with easy I-26 access. Clean tee signs list OB clearly. • Navigation requires attention. Fairways are close, multiple baskets visible, and several holes bring the road or parking lot into play. UDisc map helps. • Front nine runs along a busy highway, and amenities are off-site only. The course loses a little steam late, but overall it’s a fun addition to the area, especially for newer players.

Great course and easy to navigate with disc No problem finding any baskets or tees. Lots of great shot shapes and distances for beginners or intermediate

@tchazotte
Fantastic design. Kinda difficult to navigate as signage is minimal. Also tee pads are either painted on existing asphalt surfaces, or just a wood bar nailed into dirt. Some tee signs are incorrect in distance. Hole 5 is about 403’ (40’ shorter than posted), and hole 10 is closer to 470’ (about 30’ longer than posted). Both numbers are per my Bushnell range finder. Still a great course though.
@dwkruse
Nice open(mostly), long par 3s. A couple of holes can get you in trouble in the some thorns and thick brush.

@wncjamesnichols
Fun shots fun times. Watch for moving cars and parked cars.

@bboyxamri
Fun course and mostly open. Although, there are a lot of mando's and OB thrown in to make it more challenging. Very scoreable if you can avoid the OB strokes. No real teepads, but some signage.

@ashlynbassoon
Agree with the other reviews that holes are difficult to find without using UDisc Map. I enjoyed the course overall, great potential!! I think it’s going to be a great one with some maintenance.

@star69
just an open field . no tee pads no signs no bathrooms or any shade on the course except for hole 11. walks between throws are long for unnecessary reasons. feel free to skip out on this one

@ricandapril98
What impressed me the most was we were playing on a Sunday and the principal was out gardening!!! Very impressed Sir and appreciated!

Fun elementary course!

@jkafel
For this course to be on the property of an elementary school, it uses the space very well. Well thought out OBs and mandatory. Good mixture of shorter holes and longer holes. Plenty of birdies available while having plenty of danger as well.

@ijohnj
It’s a Blast! Chance to bomb a few shots and some shorter shot specific lines. Views of the Pisgah NF off in the distance are awesome. Nice addition to WNC!
@croberts96
4 stars only for the reason, that this course will only continue to improve. Definitely a nice change of pace and compliment to other courses in the area. The excellent and appropriate use of mandatories and ob makes the course a bit of challenge while also allowing it to be scorable.

@ncmack111
Super fun course. Longer than most elementary school courses I have played. Tee areas are mostly grass.
