@goodstand
Open front 9 is a 3/5, wooded back 9 is a 4/5. Has a sick apache helicopter but needs trees and underbrush cleaned up a bit. Some lines are also a bit awkward.
@choseneball
Some of the wooded lines are way too tight. Needs a bit more cleaning up.
@apadula14
The course is fun and challenging but as it currently stands is too narrow to want to play alone unless you are ok losing a disc or two. With a little widening this course would easily be a 4.5-5 for me but for what it is it’s still objectively a fun course!
@posty1000
Front 9 was awesome Couldn't finish the back 9 due to severe mosquitoes.
@itsmejp
Lines on the back 9 can be cleaned up slightly but overall a good track. Will return in the future!
@ryanmorton
Some holes on the back 9 don’t have lines to the baskets at all
@andrewstoll
Bad sign placement. Other things that will get better with time are shot lines and stumps in fairways.
@missedputtz
This course has great bones as a technical Par 3, and is super fun already. Fairways and rough will only get better over time. Great use of the land and variety of shot shapes with deliberate selection of landing zones with high potential of roll-aways. Both red and blue tees are well thought out (except for 14, which is a silly poke-and-hope for both tee shots).
@madmanotl
Blue level course requiring 300 foot power for many shots. Lot of baskets are not visible from tee. Definitely needs a full smart layout to account for multiple tee and basket possibilities.,
@claw19
What a great addition to NW suburban disc golf! Kudos to the course designers for this challenging and diverse layout. Particularly the wooded track on the back 9! Huge potential is going to be dependent on future upkeep and dealing with probable challenges in the lowland areas during wet season in Spring and the likely thick off-fairway rough during the Summer season. Pros: Excellent signage, new baskets (many are strategically placed on well-protected greens), well placed tee pads, manicured fairways, mowed walkways. Cons: I don’t grasp the concept of an island hole on #8L at a distance (320ft) up the hill that is very difficult to reach for most disc golfers. No drop zone either. I’ve got nothing against doglegs, but on #14S I don’t see how circle one is reachable through the air with tight woods and the severe angle, unless throwing a perfect skip shot or a lucky roller. It would be nice to have an ace run on the shorty, helicopter hole #16. But the trees guarding the basket are too dense. Consider thinning out the abundance of ghost branches to give golfers a nice ace run on the back 9. Just opinions. All-in-all, I can’t wait to play this course again!
@amy0114
What a great course, compact and such a great variety of shots. I know the stumps are an issue but that comes with every new course. A great day 2 rounds!
@lyndondimond
Still fresh but the potential to be a great course well into the future. Front 9 is moderately open playing through a hilly prairie. Despite being open there are gaps to hit and sloped greens that require you must land at the right angle or potentially roll away. Back 9 is mostly wooded with a few tight gaps, everything can be birdied but requires precise shots. Still a little rough around the edges but as the course gets play and beats in it will be a fantastic addition to the area.
@kfour42
Course is always improving. Fun open/wooded mix. Garbage cans added to some tee areas. Porta potty in the parking area. Really great work on the wooded areas, looking clean
@jason42008
Great new course! They are still working on a few things but this is already a fun one!
@downermedic
Work in progress, almost complete, cool course!
@jcporter81
Decent course in its current state. Needs additional tree trimming but you can tell the place is still under maintenance. Might get rough to play in the summer once everything’s grown in. Hope they get different colored bands for short/long baskets soon. Can feel cluttered.
