@claytonbuckman
The course was challenging as a beginner but was fun. Grass was really tall which wasn’t fun to traverse. Also had a hard time finding the start.
@djfire07
Would be a nice course if some fairway trees were limbed up to provide a clear flight path for discs.
@petersarmiento
Great use of the space, beautiful grassy hills. Turf tee pads make your acl afraid with every drive. Pro level distances are a good challenge!
@rmscian
Tee areas are all turf. Most are unmarked and impossible to find in the high grass without UDisc because they blend in. Even with wide fairways, the baskets are not visible from most of the tee boxes, so it is not clear where you should be throwing. Would merit a better course rating if there were tee pad indicators with hole layout and par information along with direction signage from each basket to the next tee pad. All the other reviews that mentioned ground hogs and their large holes are accurate. They are everywhere!
@jippel
Fun course. Signage is pretty mid. You definitely need UDisc to get around. I’d play again
@bsone9
Still not being maintained by VT despite the obvious reality they are maintaining the grounds, golf or campus, immediately adjacent to the DG course. Tee boxes are overrun with mud or not level. Shame, decent course layout if they'd simply even attempt to maintain it.
@jacoblohr
needs a mow and some tree trimming badly, great course design though.
@w14u2no
In town for work and was looking for course close to the hotel. A well balanced course between distance/power vs. technicality and versatility of angles and throwing techniques. A couple of the alternate tee pads were un-drivable due some tree growth and storm damage. Ran through it twice. A fun challenge.
@peffind
Definitely a challenging course. Par would be outstanding with these distances. Rewards shots that are long and very accurate. No idea how the course would be with leaves on the trees, it’s hard enough in the winter.
@captaindylan09
I'll be great when the grass grows and they mow it and everything gets best in a lil bit
@gmknobl
The designs are really nice, with a good combo of open and narrow shots with bends around most (most turning right with). You need to be accurate for these. The maroon tees are longer but have more open tee shots, and the orange are slightly shorter but generally need more precise tee shots. However, if you shank a shot, especially around holes 3-6, be prepared to lose a disc in the brush. Oh, and watch out for groundhog holes, there are a few around. Hopefully there is more upkeep in the future.
@acebabieee
Such a fun course. Maybe the best 9 hole I’ve ever played! Love it
