Toller Kurs auf schönem Gelände, man merkt dass da viel Arbeit in die Pflege gesteckt wird! Definitiv einer der besseren in Deutschland

Wow, this course is now definitely in the Top 5 in Germany. Perfect Tees, well maintained fairways (deal with the city!), good baskets, a great variety of shot-shapes and possibly the most beautiful Tee-signs in the world. Additionally with it being a Kurpark there is no picknicking allowed and people walking the paths are generaly rather laid-back and friendly - all in all almost no interuptions during play. Philosophy of the layout is to keep a constant tournament-course, so players can really challenge themselves. Highly recommended! Reading the other comments two additions: - I'm surprised to read that somebody found it intermidiate. I don't know how well people can throw, but there are several plus 350ft par 3 holes, partially with low ceiling or basket located behind an obstacle. It's not championship level, but on par with scandinavian courses. Granted, the par 5 is eagle-able for the big-arms, but that too takes at least a very placed approach. - Hole 9 had some storm-damage earlier in the year, but is fully up and running again. Some trees had to be taken out so the fairway is a bit more open. On the other hand the basket was moved farther backwards into some trees. In my opinion the hole has been improved, since the "fairway" used to be a winding path of craters, fallen trees and unkempt weeds. With the OB on the right it's pretty birdie-able, but double bogey ain't difficult either...
