This place is diabolical. Creatively designed and well-maintained, but diabolical. There are so many trees that sometimes you can't tell if there's supposed to be a fairway or if your just standing in a forest. Also, forehand players like me have an especially tough time here. Most of the tee shots are backhand lines. Prepare to hit a tree everytime you throw anything. This place gives the difficulty of New London a run for its money. They even lead you in with an inviting beginner course that's a nice leisurely warm-up, and then chew you up and spit you out the other side. Glad to have experienced such a violent MPO kick to my soft AM4 groin.

Bring a water bottle and plan to spend at least 2 and a half hours for the entire eighteen holes. Beautiful course! Lots of up and down walking! There are now 6 layouts available! Amateur to Pro levels. The fairways are much more friendly now with the recent maintenance. Waid Park will challenge you! My fav course!🤩
