Utter disaster. It’s clear Wake isn’t an engineer school. Course needs a complete overhaul. Pull baskets. Create an excellent 9, 12, or 18 course. But not this.
@benarmentrout
I have been playing this course for a decade. It is tucked away in the trees of Wake Forest’s Reynolda Gardens, giving the player a slice of heavenly wilderness. Upkeep has improved a lot over the last few years, it is now easy to play the official back 9.
@aaron23
This has potential to be a really great course. There's no signage, no teepads, and the walks between holes don't make sense. I'm all for short and technical courses, but some fairways need a makeover. I think 18 holes could easily fit in the back 9 part of the course, with it starting and finishing at the parking lot. My advice would be to start with a clean slate, and design ONE clean and polished layout with great signage and teepads before trying to add other Long/Short layouts.
@beepbeep
A fun, technical woods course. Get ready to scramble.
@sawyerk
Great pro level course from the black tees, holes 8-18 are available to play to the public. Fantastic shot shapes and a overall pretty great time.
@illusion116
I really like the shots on this course. I think this is a fun, tough, technical course. It doesn’t have all the things that make a course professional like teepads or signs on every hole. However, someone has clearly put some thought into this one, especially from the longer tees.
@colefarley
Very difficult wooded lines. Great practice for scrambling and gap hitting.
@easten16
This is a great course with a lot of potential. If the school would just put in tee pads it would be a 5. The changes being made make it worth playing
@tedling5
Not bad just some holes don’t have a sign, and some signs are not the most accurate
@jrsims
Going from hole to hole can be challenging. Also you finish very far from the beginning. Prepare for a very long walk back.
@cabauguess
Back nine course is well designed and a good difficulty. 2 new baskets have been placed and new holes are being implemented
@paulsm
The course has some cool holes; and is under construction for several new holes. Holes 7-9 are gone just fyi.
@ndawg22
Back nine in Reynolda kept good, no poison ivy that I came across and pretty easy to figure things out hole wise
@caldigger13
Beautiful course especially the back 9
@griffinlamphier
Nice course through Wake Forest University and Reynolda. Hole 5 is unplayable but the campus is a great place to create a hole of “par tree”, so it can be a lot of fun.
@kwiksilver91
Can’t find tee off points. Construction blocking multiple holes. Holes are too spread out.
@jfsmith336
Needs tee-pads and upkeep (some fairways have been totally overtaken). Upkeep aside, there are a few good hole designs. Several holes in the middle of the course are gone due to construction and others are unplayable due to overgrowth. Would love to see this course fixed up!
@jbork44
Save your time and effort and go elsewhere if you need your disc fix. One of the holes on front nine is unplayable, six of the holes on the back nine might as well be. Poor continuity as the course starts by Polo near soccer fields and ends in Reynolda village. Too many bugs and spider webs on back nine
@dumptruckjunior
Course is rough, and needs some love, but I love playing here.
