Very well done wooded course weaving through woods and gradual elevation. Turf pads on Blues are sweet! White/Red pads in progress. Tape on basket spokes and plenty of signage to find the next hole. Pathways and bridges make finding the next tee easy. Lots of tunnel shots on par 3s, so those a re a bit repetitive but fun/challenging. Most of the par 4s are eagle-able with a high level tee shot. A few are shorter 2-shot holes with landing zones. Once pads are done, tee signs upgraded and more benches out here… prob one of the best wooded courses in the state! Must play if you’re in the area!
@tarquin
Great course, lots of variety and elevation change. All blue tees are in and in solid condition, some whites are in, but blues are all reachable for someone who can throw 300.
@vitale131
Great tee pads, signage, and design. Highly recommend!

First time playing this course. I always do the shortest layouts when I use that. Lots of potential with technical lines. Enjoyed the scenery. Would have granted a higher rating but can't go above a three and a half without t-pads on the holes I was playing. Signage was good but clearly not permanent as of yet. Someday this will be a fantastic course but today just slightly above average. On the reds, the par4s are a bit generous. Also, while it says it's not cart friendly, and I agree, it probably is cart navigable.
@stoltzjl77
Lovely course through mature woods with a variety of shots and distances. Well maintained though the tee areas are a little meh.
@ghyphenreg
Lovely course.. nice wooded.. fun lines (not super tight).. shade, elevation.. well marked.. pretty sweet..
@roadto501
Despite the turkey attack... I love the lack of New England foot grabbing stones here. A work in progress well worth playing all 3 layouts.
@padbaney
On our way through so we stopped for a quick 18. This course was a tone of fun.
@daveington
Well on its way to being a 4-star course, especially once all turf pads are installed.
@sherbear13
Loved the course. Very fun. Will give a 5 when there are red tee pads. Know it is a work in progress. Much improved!! And would give a 10 for wayfinding/markers
@tomdmartin
Seems like every time I play this course it gets better. This time after being gone for a little over a month they put in next tee indicators on the baskets. I like how they take care of this course. It has become my favorite course! Update: Great work on the course, looks great!!
@bschott
I had a blast here!! Lots of potential! Great design with the limited variety in landscape. Can’t wait to see this place continue to improve
@branthoffman
Home course, come a long way in the last 10 years. Lots of trees, some new beautiful tee pads, a bit muddy. Variety of holes and elevation changes. +0.5 with the new changes. Loved the flags, longer holes.
@tjrubin
good course, quite difficult, lost a salmon buzzz on hole 5-7
@skylerdg
Lots of work has been done, once dedicated tee pads go in, course will be mint
@discgolfphoenix
Exceptional park setting right off Merritt Pkwy. DG course is set apart in a wooded setting. Tee pads are dirt, but there are 3 tee pads. Easy to find next tee pad. Be aware of prickers and possibly poison ivy. Amenities- great place to spend a day!
@hyoomac
Most holes have elevation change because the course is on a steep, wooded hillside. Pretty course that uses hills, woods and old rock walls. Dirt tees, some slanted up, down, or sidehill. Course and tees will be very muddy after significant rain. Waveny is a well cared-for course and a fun play, but the dirt tees hurt the overall rating, and you should avoid the course during wet conditions. Detailed review at dgcoursereview.com
@greenha
The updates are awesome, great work!
@bsmall8
Watch out for poison ivy!
