Course is closed permanently. Park District shut it down unfortunately.

This course is permanently closed, and has been since late-2022.

Beautiful course with SO much potential. Fairways are unreasonably tight, and ALL rough is too unforgiving…Some holes don’t even have viable lines.

Right off the bat I noticed there weren’t any tee pads, which made it difficult to figure out where to throw from for the fact that it was muddy. My buddy also threw his disc far right on the first hole, so if you want a free disc go for it. Goodluck finding it. Doesn’t help some of the holes were very narrow ranging from about 15-20 feet wide.Batavia park district could do better on cleaning up the course and adding tee holes. The bristles and thorn bushes also were difficult to navigate thru.

Not beginner friendly at all. Fairways are maybe 20ft wide with super thick weeds along both sides

Great for tunnel shots but very rough brush off of the fairway. Very tight fairways on most holes.

Very difficult course. Would be extremely difficult with overgrowth

I played this course yesterday and most of the "tee pads" were just a huge muddy puddle. Most of the holes have an extremely narrow fairway and the rough is brutal. It's really an interesting course but it's a shame that there are no tee pads especially considering this course hosts an annual tournament. It could use more upkeep too, I know Batavia Park District has the money to do it so what is taking so long!?!???

Older 80s design with mostly all tunnel shots. No tee pads, anything off the fairway is ROUGH

Good layout but very technical, some fairways are absurdly narrow and if you end up in the rough good luck

mostly tight, technical intermediate and above level course. beautiful scenery and well designed holes with punishing rough. would be better with tee pads and a bit of upkeep.

Not sure what course some of the other reviewers were playing, this course is amazing. Lots of tight technical lines, narrow fairways, very pretty in the late summer. If you don't want a challenge, go somewhere else I guess. Doesn't mean the course isn't excellent.

Don't play this course in any other season than fall or winter. Super overgrown, no maintenence. You WILL lose discs. Challenging woods course.

Pretty lazily designed and far too narrow fairways. There’s zero margin of error and if you miss a little right or left have fun looking for your disc in thick thorns and thistles. Would not recommend

This is a amazing course! The 6ft rough is intimidating, tight lines, good shit. Man up and play something that’s challenging!

Was coerced into playing this. Dirt tees, no doubt this place becomes unplayable in summer due to weeds. Three block walk from 18 basket to parking lot. Between that and the park district raising their rate to the point where a local tournament scheduled there was canceled, this is a course to avoid. There are plenty of better places to play in the area.

This course is THE hidden Gem of Illinois. Tight, technical, and unforgiving. But i love it. This course is not for recreational players and you certainly do not play it in summer months. Once the leafs start dropping, it’s game on. If you play West main well, you can play anywhere. If you’re playing October-April, enjoy!

one of the best courses around. Don't play when it is green outside only winter time.
