Westminster just brought this course back. 9 concrete tee-pads. Short & long basket locations. Older baskets. Good use of elevation. Great views of the mountains. This course has a lot of potential. Needs to be beaten in & could use a little more maintenance. Excited to see how this course develops!

@mattctp
Great design for some shorts and longs. Thankful to have this back in play

Was stoked about a new course in Denver till I showed up area is still under construction so your pretty much playing thru a construction site for a new course you would expect some maintenance but the only thing they did was mow a 6ft wide fairway on each hole otherwise it’s just tall grass. Signage is wrong says there multiple pin positions on some holes and the other basket just isn’t there (ex. Hole 5 says there’s 2 baskets and 1 tee pad but theres actually a long tee pad, a short tee pad and only one basket. they used the old baskets from the course back in the day (which was much better) so all the baskets are old rusty machs and sum are already leaning what a joke. Layout is boring so much space in this park why didn’t we use it. We should stop putting resources into silly courses like this Colorado doesn’t need any more wide open golf there’s so many courses like this in the Denver area overall forgettable.

I talked to about 7 people during my round and not one positive word from anyone. It says on udisc about that this course was granted 30k to put in these 9 holes. The baskets are rusty, reused, and sloppily spray painted from the old course. Factoring in maybe $20/hole for basket sleeves and concrete, that means almost $3100+ of tax payer money was used to install these basic open shots per hole.. Holes 5 and 6 play with the reeds in the creek, mostly open, boring, lacking any creativity or shot shaping. I was expecting a combo of west fork and paco but we got a more boring west creek/autrey. Nothing special about this course to ever draw people to it. I'd love to see the cost breakdown of where the $ went. Akt1on Disc Golf on yt🤘

@spunkrock
Great course to not have to think or try very hard, will recommend for beginners and quick after work rounds

@ava7anch3
The "creek" between the short and long position on 6 needs a bridge; water is deeper than it looks. Otherwise, it's a fine course. Opening weekend, so I am assuming there are things to adjust moving forward.

@pomerleau4
Beautiful view of the mountains, fun enough for the area they have for the course
@tdbrady1
Honestly, very disappointing course. Limited shot shapes/elevation. Mostly open. 1 par 4 that is not bad, other wise hyzer par 3's No reason to go here over the other courses unless you live next to it

@drewptr
Some fun holes but itll be a disc eater in summer. Nice winter option

@cutbow51
It’s alright, not too well trimmed and not too many obstacles. The tee signs are way off.

@putogordo
Hard to fairly rate this course knowing what the old layout was like. This is now a great beginner and family friendly course, but nothing really stands out. Hope there are plans to expand and improve.

@easystreetben
Always nice to have a new course available in the area. This one is still getting broken in. Pretty much an open course with little variety. Signs are somewhat accurate and baskets are visible but it feels very outdated. Hopefully in time it can be updated and have more replay value. Beautiful mountain views.

@dogfy1
Great course. Fantastic layout .Hate the baskets.

@onlybandz267875
Needs someone shot variety and tree play where possible. Fairways are decent just needs more time to be trampled and established. Great views from every hole
@volleydale
Not as enjoyable as the original course comma not sure glad it’s open. I’m sure it will be looking good especially in the summer.

@cmitch13
The old back 9 was significantly better than this. It's basically a 9 hole version of Fehringer. If you're looking for yet another mediocre front range course full of tall grass and boring shots, this is the place for you.

@chainzbreaker
From white Hawk to pigeon purch! Just another wide open no difficulty course for Colorado! This use to be a really nice course. Westminster park and rec were going to plant 250 trees on the old course to help with degree of difficulty but stopped at 15 trees! But still the original was hands down way better!

@royalemu
Feeling very disappointed after playing this new course design. 6 out of the 9 holes are wide open shots in the 300' range. The course does use the elevation well but there isn't a tree or obstacle in sight. I can't believe I'm saying this but this is worse than Westminster was before. Some of the red positions are interesting: Hole 6 and hole 9.
