I don’t understand how all the reviews are complaining about off the fairways being rough and not maintained and even the fairways not behing well taken care of and it’s still not a priority by the park to maintain especially when charging an entrance fee. It’s got good potential but it shouldn’t be possible to lose a disc 1 foot off the fairway even in winter. Shot variety is weak and tee signs need an upgrade
@wistfuldragon
Roughs are ROUGH. A fair number of holes have semi blind baskets, so a spotter would be recommended. Tees are often crooked; a nice, fun course with doable lines and good elevation changes, but not in my top ten.
@jhaworks
This course is amazing! I love the openness of the fairways. Really technical shape shots but wide open shape shots if that makes any sense. I think his course is underrated. My opinion. I'm going to play it again while I'm here in town
@fireflarf
It's fine. Tight fairways make for a solid, if occasionally frustrating, challenge. But the relatively low variety of shot design and poor teepad maintenance and signage holds this course back. Holes 3 & 17 stand out as exceptional holes though.
@beejmc
Decent park style course, tho it feels dated with its wildly pitched tees, retro baskets, and design choices. Has a “samey” vibe for a lot of it. Favors RHFH too much, or left handed as its main theme. Signage is inaccurate, but the course has a good logical flow from basket to tee, tho hole 9 finishes at the furthest point from the parking lot, so if you play 1-18 you are in it to finish it. Relic of the past, needs updating in multiple ways. Not bad for a quick run through, some fun to be had.
@dsplayfair
Solid course. Easy and quick round. A welcome change after 2 rounds at a greenridge tournament.
@bhodges050
Open enough, so friendly Ish for novices… But that’s not to say that it’s easy.
@billmiegel
Almost all shots, low ceilings to the right. Throwing not on fairway punishable be thick throns and potential lost discs
@baxdiscer62
Good variety of open and wooded holes. First tee is a walk from the parking—just follow down the path. Otherwise navigation is pretty straightforward. Some holes seemed to have multiple baskets, which was confusing (not marked in the app).
@eliascontos
Absolutely gorgeous course. In the words of a local I met yesterday: don't sleep on white clay disc golf
@goalosco
I'd say beginner friendly because many holes are <300' with clear fairways. super fun, one of my favorites in north Delaware for a good time.
@nic0824
Would like to see some trimming on hole 11 but this course always one of my favorites
@mrwarshaw
It’s my home courses, and I’ve played it probably over 400 times at this point. Yes, the parks dept does a bad job of upkeep in the warmer months, but the weed danger makes it more exciting.
@dtaylo08
This course is what got me into disc golf. Very fun par three course. Stay on the course and you won't have a problem finding your disc.
@cntbg23
Playing at White clay was like pulling up to a super nice basketball court you don’t normally hoop at. The atmosphere can be a little intimidating for a beginner. If you relax and play your game though you’ll have a blast!
@robbied311x
Not sure how this is rated higher than Canby as it's a worse course in every way...old tees pads with some uphill, very busy side of the park, older baskets, not very balanced shot wise, pay to play....Its not terrible but it is 100% overshadowed by its neighbor courses.
@peonmaster
Playing great at the moment
@jhashagen
A short par 54. Tees are good but not always level. Some of the baskets have been upgraded to disc catchers, which is great. However, not every target is new I would say about 1/3 of the holes are still the old baskets.
