Finally made the trip down to Vienna to play Prater. Fun course in a public park with some holes that bring you into close contact with pedestrians. The course eventually extends to other areas that are less frequented by other park visitors. We played on a cold and windy early spring weekend day and there was a constant stream of runners up and down Hauptallee, I imagine on nice days, the volume is even heavier. For my taste, the design makes sense considering the space the designers had to work with. All holes (except for 15) have one or more lines to the basket and are fun. The lack of teepads doesn't bother me but teeing off on an uneven surface likely isn't something most people will enjoy. Locals were very friendly and quickly got a lost disc back to me. Thank you again! There is a really nice restaurant called Tupi im Goatn with a beer garden and friendly service a short walk away from hole 18. I'll definitely be making the trip back!

@kevinal
Has the potential to be a very fun course, but it needs tee boxes ASAP. I also played when the grass was short, and based on other comments, I see how frustrating this can be to play when it’s long.
@kevin53
Kurs macht Spaß und ist abwechslungsreich. Echte Tpads wären toll. Autobahn ist laut

@sethnofziger
Too many people in the throwing lines. Big arm course.
@rembert
Teepads could be better but overall wonderful course in the center of vienna
@alešmasařík
Beautiful course

@sidetrack43
Most polished course I have played between Germany, Holland and now Austria. Great course design given the area they have to use.
@mzdfly
A decent course for being in a park in the city. A couple holes with good length, and some variety in shot shapes. Some open holes, and some through trees. The grass needs to be cut on the open fairways, and many of the tees are in bad shape. Maintenance please!
@greghuyckjr
Grass needs to be cut, if there were new boxes turf tee boxes this course would be a 4.5. I can imagine that this course is unplayable after a hard rain due to muddy dug in tee boxes.

@nitrotype
A fun course, but very tall grass and no signage makes this course very difficult to play through. Rely on UDisc heavily. Still the best course I’ve tried in Europe so far, but nothing compared to your standard course in the Midwest U.S.A.
@fischerz
Best to play in spring or autumn because of very high grass in summer. The city of Vienna does unfortunately everything to make the course worse (e.g. new tree‘s in the fairway)
@squanchyparty
Some of the hole measurement on UDisc are drastically incorrect

@artjomeichler
Please do some better Tee pads because it’s dangerous to fall of the wooden things on the tees.

@pallestroem
Fun course with good variety. In the green Prater park. Grass quite tall in the summer but easy to find discs. Right next to bog public outdoor swimmingpool area if you need a dip after.
@jojokilian
Teepads should be maintained, but overall really nice course

@marqjuu
Very good course with some challenging holes. My only gripe with this course are the tee pads which are horrible.

@joakimbj
Doesn’t seem to be maintained (you are actually able to lose your disc in the fairway due to tall grass everywhere). Don’t like the new holes on the back9, as they interfere with each other
