About the course

Wolf Knob, a par 58 disc golf gem designed by John Houck, offers a unique playing experience along the northern edge of Mammoth Cave National Park. Known for its technical layout, the course features heavily wooded sections, significant elevation changes, and a welcome mix of open holes. Players will appreciate the on-site pro shop and convenient parking. For overnight stays, The Hickory Cabins provide a comfortable option. Please note that a signed waiver at the pro shop is required and a $6 players fee.

History

Wolf Knob was created 2017 as a temporary course. In 2020 John Houck was contracted to design Mammoth Cave DGC and redesign Wolf Knob. In 2021 we started work on Wolf Knob and it was completed June 2022.

One of the best disc golf experiences you can have in the state of Kentucky. This place is amazing and only getting better. It’s a hidden gem. Make it a weekend, and stay @ one of the cabins. Nolin lake and Mammoth Cave national park are close. It’s a wonderful place.
