@tysonlukrofka
Just needs concrete tee pads and this becomes an attractive course. Great layout and shot variety
@dstrickland
Not a lot of signs so it can be difficult. Just ask another disc golfer. People are friendly. It's a decent course after that. Great use of terrain. Doubles back on itself a few times and lots of hiking. But pretty fun discing...
@zacdwyer
Fun course but tee boxes are just dirt and can be difficult to find your way without Udisc
@heidmann99
Zig zaggy and hard to follow
@kalebjlange
Beauty of a course for southern Illinois. UDisc is needed as some signs are incorrect and tees have moved. Couple of red tees just dirt marks, but red are 100% the nicer tees. Could use more βnext teeβ directions. Overall a great course that just needs some TLC.
@cujo93830
Update 2025. Dude, WTF did they do to this course. Layout totally different. Long walks. Down to 2.5 star. Review 2023 Not a fan, average course, up and down hills, plays well from the short pads, the longer 2 pads are....interesting. lines are maintained as well.
@noahfree
Iβm surprised this course isnβt rated at least a 4.2 or so. Could it be better? Absolutely. But is it a very solid course with many well-designed holes and also multiple tees on every hole and several memorable shots? 100%. This course is way better than other courses Iβve seen that have a rating over 4.
@kindofblue
Beautiful park but a very meh course. Some terrible holes (13 being maybe the worst; nearly 400 feet to a basket 3 feet from a corner ob road), 16 is pretty bad as well; on a mound next to the road with no clear line to throw. No teepads on half the holes and no indication where the next tee is. UDisc is a must but better yet, just skip it and play somewhere else.
@msheddan
Could be 4 1/2 star with some work. Positives- has multiple tees and basket locations. Has elevation, water and many different shot varieties needed. Negatives- Signage needs LOTS of help. Even UDisc not correct for tee pad location on some Blues. Tee pads non existent for many Blues. NO signs on many Blues. Walk between many holes as long as the holes. Lastly- need serious tree branch trimming. Lines to several holes non-existent, and true on several water holes which really stinks. Could be a great course, but needs a lot of work as is
@papafrantic
Not sure where this comes off with a 4.0 rating. Nice park and lots of potential for a nice course but signage is horrible, tee pads are mostly non existent. Overall design is very poor. Can only see a few of the baskets from the tee pads. Why would they continually go from valley to valley instead of hilltop to hilltop? Or even hilltop to valley? Waste of potential.
@ianr13
Lots of potential but not there yet
@kfree35
Nice course but itβs under some construction due to a playground going in. Multiple tees seem nice to have options but right now not all holes have concrete tees and itβs a bit confusing. Also the udisc layouts are in a weird state. I played blue pads and seemingly every hole was in the B position. Still the best course to play in this area I would say. Busy park so need to make sure youβre not throwing at anyone at times. Also many blind tee shots make this difficult as well as finding where the basket is. Could be a 5 star par 3 public park course!
@texas2putts
Great Park style course finding your way around a little complicated and you crisscross the park way too much
@smokybeans
3.75-3.9 Nice improvements to the course. They do a good job of keeping the course nice.
@humanaquarian
Fun, one of my favorites.
@justfaking
Best maintained course ever!
@jbus1978
Pretty course with good amenities. Hole 16 should be changed. It's dangerous and absolutely unnecessary. Move it back up top so we can actually enjoy it, instead of dreading it.
@scottschumann
Pin placements to close to OB is kind of a dumb idea, canβt run for birdies and so you layup for boring pars.
@calvinc44
Fun park course. Good elevation, multiple tee pads and pins, and good signs. Layout is confusing sometimes but not impossible to follow. Uses road as ob a good amount even though itβs a popular park and it seems like you could hit a car or your disc could get run over. Otherwise great course!
@jonhellwig
The new design isnβt great. In addition, Iβve never seen this much broken glass on a course.
