@gqueisser
potential best 5 finishing holes in WI. hope there are plans to adjust the 3-4 filler holes
@deanmoriarty
Spent 20 minutes bush whacking through the woods to try to figure out how to get from 14 to 15. This course is not even worth it and it’s current stage stay far away.
@jules16
Woodpecker Alley is a beautiful, challenging course with a ton of potential. Tight wooded lines, big elevation, and some truly scenic fairways make it a great test of skill and patience. When you hit your line out here, it feels amazing. That said, it’s still UNDER CONSTRUCTION— so expect a few rough edges. Tee pads, signage, and navigation (especially between 14 and 15) are still being fine-tuned. But honestly, we should all be appreciative that we get to play it while it’s still being built out. You can already see how special it’s going to be. Bring your hiking legs, your control drivers, and a good attitude — this course will make you work for your birdies, and it’s worth it.
@jadoyle
Rough and amazing! This one is still a little rugged with fairways and rough, but the layout is great. Looks like most holes have a short and long pad already chosen and some have a second basket location marked already. Think this will end up a 4.5 or better once it is a little cleaned up and beat in by course traffic. My only complaint is how intertwined it is with the mountain bike trail, but the land it’s on is perfect for the course.
@brads618
Very unique and technical wooded course. Not fully finished but going to be awesome when it's complete.
@elevatedgreens
Fun, challenging course with a dangerous design. Many, if not all, holes have fairways that blindly cross mountain bike paths. Many greens within 30ft. or less from MTN bike paths. Some walks from hole to hole also use the MTN bike paths. Please check your surroundings before every shot!
@onedisctwodisc
Absolutely love the progress that’s happening here!
@molumop
Played on 9/1/25 - the course has excellent potential and can’t wait to see it in a complete state. It’s in the process of proper tee areas and I’m assuming signage will come after. Will need some sort of marking system to help direct traffic in the proper direction but I think it will be one of my favorite courses in southeast Wisconsin once it’s finished!
@backhandbrotha
So excited for this place to get tea pads, very fun course!!
@tommymort13
Has very good potential, but very bad signage
@ryanmorton
Not ready yet. Got lost after 13 and gave up. Whoever made the layout on Udisc needs to redo it. The distances are all off too.
@franklincj07
This course has potential for greatness, but needs lots of work. Current iteration feels like an 850 rated players idea of a “Hard woods course”. A lot of the design on some holes are just straight up bad design(no clean line, trees for the sake of trees). real teepads are a must(concrete or turf! Not what they use at winter course). Holes 15-18 are fantastic, the best on all of alpines property. However, the walk from 14-15 is unacceptable with no signage at all.
@ilikebigputtss
Course is still in it's very early stages of development, but love the potential it has. Lots of difficult and fun shot shapes. I think it's going to remain one of the most difficult courses in the area even when everything is cleaned up and teepads are in. Keep up the amazing work!
@cs9320
Very rough still but it is a great concept so far. The par 4s are like Northwoods Black level difficulty. Very challenging but fun if you enjoy hard courses. Crazy elevation. Involves creative hiking between some holes. Some longer holes could use an extra 3-4ft of width and maybe better landing zones. Hard to throw some holes without tee pads in yet. The full 18 will be insane 🤯
@plecsam
10/17/25 update. Looking good. This has 5 start potential once finished. Really appreciate all the work that’s gone into this course, had much fun playing this tough course!
@dkagabitang
Once it's done, it's going to be wonderful. Tough lines and lots of elevation. Great progress so far.
@powersurge
Work in progress. But lots of work being done. Looks better every time I’m out here.
@drfrisb
The first 6 holes are in but the remainder is flagged if you have your own target. This course does have potential. Check in next year for the full layout.
