Good shorter course. Lots of birdies that can make you feel like you're a McBeast.
@grizzlyginger
2-3 paths to the next tee cross a previous fairway. Decent elevation change and use of existing trees, but the course feels a little cramped. Course map for WACO mod layout is inaccurate for tees on 11 and 18 and nonexistent for 17a.

*3/1/25 update: new baskets on all holes! +.25 uDisc rating! I've played Woodway many times and while it is an unassuming park style course, many of the holes are sneaky hard to score on, given roll away hills, frequent wind off the lake, the grabby low trees, and the poor condition of many tee pads and baskets. The parks dept has recently swapped out a few of the worst baskets with promise of more coming, and fine a bunch of chipping which are welcomed improvements! That said, I keep coming back because its a course that rewards control and presents many long glory/shame putt situations. The view of the lake is also very pretty, and water is in play in a couple holes, more or less depending on seasonal water levels.

Surprisingly challenging fun little course.
@brandonhandy74
Great little course! The tee areas are good, the walk between holes I s a little weird and the layout is really fun!
@zachouser
Map at beginning but not clear without a picture. Tees don’t have maps so UDisc is your best friend. Old baskets. Three a Buzzz in the water on 15. Beers for anyone that finds it and calls. Number is on the disc.
@fleetafoot
Love the layout. Some holes might be due for new baskets.
@jacobg421
Tee pads and Baskets could use some work, but still a great course with lots of shot shapes
@mrharvey34
Water fountain on course wasn’t working and tree limb down on tee box 11. Overall a very nice course with a great view of Lake Waco on the back 9. Good variety of open and wooded holes. Will def be back and probably a local favorite
@joules
Technical short shots on the majority of the holes.
@ggmyers0351
Course needs an extreme face life. Mainly is needs all new tee pads, tee markers, and a map at hole #1.
@chasenheimer
Nice park-style course, but brutal in the wind. Hole 2 needs to be a par 4. 430ft uphill with a low ceiling is kind of an insane par 3 compared to the relative ease of the rest of the course. Watching Worlds right now and there is 430ft par 3 but it’s all downhill and conducive to a natural RHBH hyzer. A hole in Waco should *not* be harder than that.
