This course is a lethal abomination and needs to be relocated. Hole 1, water carry with picnic tables in the line of flight. Hole 2, surrounded by cars. At this point I left, because I could see that hole 3 played over a path and hole 5 played over a basketball court. How is this hellhole rated this highly?
@jlewallen
Questionable layout with several holes. This is an active park where there are several shots going over active areas in the park. We had to wait several times before throwing. There were also multiple holes overlapping. There were a couple of really fun holes along the river, which was the saving grace of this course. This course would also be impossible to navigate without Udisk.
@loganwalden
I can alone on a Monday at sunrise. Even so, there were quite a few people on the trails, which cross through the course pretty often. A lot of the holes are near ball diamonds and soccer fields, so I wouldn’t want to come during any sporting events. I’m not a fan of zig-zag layouts, which this course has a lot of. There were areas where baskets were close together and it was difficult to decipher which hole to aim for. However there were still some really cool holes, especially on the back 9, that had some technical challenges and pretty scenery. I had fun. I’ve played worse. lol.

Out of the 50 courses I have played in Georgia, this is the worst one. The park is beautiful but the course layout was created by someone who clearly does not play the sport. Terrible signage, no map on the app, and tons of people either walking, set up picnics, or parked cars in your way. This is certainly not a course for any beginner and I’m sure many insurance claims are filed due to this course.
@andideloach
I enjoyed a few holes, but for the most part this course is not good. You play over teepads/fairways of other holes, very poor layout with a ton of walking between holes, the park is busy and your throwing down or over walking paths with almost every hole… today was overcast and cool so not a ton of traffic but can only imagine the chaos on league night!
@odysseus7
Excellent course - mix of field & woods with some great variety along the way.
@blacktoe
Signage and markings need to be fixed. OK course for the land available.
@acdg1998
I don’t usually rate this bad. But this was such a confusing and frustrating course. Signage is next to non existent. People all over hole 1 and others near the river. Can’t play if there’s too many people on the weekends. Holes overlapping each other. Bad course design. Also why would you put hole 18 past the parking lot? Drove an hour up here. Would not come back
@kevinburnem
Signage was terrible, UDisc didn’t help much. Baskets mislabeled. But good shot variety once we figured it out. May take a few rounds to figure out layout but overall not a bad course
@wmecha
Fun course. Busy with lots of foot traffic in the park and some overlapping fairways. A few fun drives over the river.
@faudau
In an active park. Some throws are over walking paths and roads. Some fun holes and some are annoying. Have to watch for kids and walkers.
@zharry1
Really well designed course on a gorgeous property. The park gets packed with swimmers during the warm season, so a few holes can be a little "crowded". The course offers a good mix of wooded and open holes + different shot shapes and elevation changes. It can get confusing at times since several baskets are within 100ft of one another. All in all, definitely worth playing!
@makomike
The course is a ton of fun. 18 holes with turf / concrete tee pads. The course has been redesigned as of mid 2021. It is located in a beautiful park. There is great group of locals that call this course home and are very active very welcoming to newbies. Not a very long course but many technical shots required to score well.
@samkess
Great park with well maintained tee boxes and fairways. Smaller course but has a mix of creative holes. Back 9 are well designed. 2 fun par 4’s. Deserves more credit than was given in the past.
@bdavies77
Nice park but patrons are in the way a lot! Little confusing layout but overall a nice park to play. My favorite during the summer heat!
@maxp13
Each change to the course over the past year has made it less fun
@jcpethel
They keep removing or redesigning fun holes but some of the worse holes have remained unchanged
@sbowlerman
Do not listen to the Naysayers about this course, this is a neat loop in the Georgia mountains! Love the layout, test nerves right off the bat, in the middle, and at the end by bringing the flowing creek into play. Throw in some tight turns and distance holes, and you have a challenging course. The ONLY suggestion I have for this course is the tee pads need some improvement. Either concrete the pads or level them out and add a gripping surface. Hole maps on Udisc are accurate.
