About the course

Yelm Prairie Disc Golf Course is a 9 basket 18 hole course set on the school grounds of Yelm Prairie Elementary. This course has 9 red (short) tees and 9 blue (long) tees which when combined makes for an 18 hole round. Yelm Prairie has 4 holes over 400’ including a 485’ long hole. The course is made more technically difficult with the use of Out-Of-Bounds (OB). All pavement and bark, as well as over any fence is considered OB. Further OB rules are noted on the course sign, including the description of the two island holes (holes 5 & 9). Please Note: The Hole 1 tee is near the Covered Play Area.

Basket 8 is missing. No tee pads at all. Better than nothing but wouldn’t waste time traveling to it.

3 out of 5 because for 9 holes the shot selection is great with most holes over 300 feet and many obstacles but there are no tee pads. There are only slippery mossy walking paths or concrete areas. I had to use the app to make sure I was in the right spot. Basket 8 is missing as well. I used the telephone pole as the target after looking for several minutes. Overall a great 9 hole course for players of all skill levels.
