Disc Nation - South Austin

Disc Nation was founded in 2006 in South Austin with a simple mission: help people fall in love with disc golf. At the time, there were very few specialty disc golf shops in Central Texas, and Disc Nation quickly became a gathering place for beginners, tournament players, families, and the growing local scene. Today, the business is proudly owned and operated by fifth-generation Austinite, Shannon Mullan, continuing a deep local connection to both the city and the sport. Over the years, Disc Nation expanded alongside Austin’s booming disc golf community, opening a second location in North Austin near Wells Branch to better serve players across the region. Disc Nation remains locally owned and deeply involved in Central Texas disc golf—supporting leagues, tournaments, junior programs, and course development efforts throughout the area. Known for friendly, knowledgeable staff and a welcoming atmosphere, the focus is on making the game accessible for everyone, whether it’s someone throwing their very first disc or a seasoned competitor dialing in their bag. More than two decades in, the goal is still the same: build community, grow the sport, and keep disc golf fun in Austin.
