Well over 1 million people have the UDisc app and have put it to use to find disc golf courses, score their rounds, and much more. But very few of that huge group are as dedicated to the game as the people we recognize in this post.

Here you can discover which elite UDiscers disc golfed to the max in 2025, posting the top tallies in the app for rounds and holes played, time spent on the course, steps taken, countries played in, and more.

The numbers these players put up are truly astonishing, and our hats are tipped and jaws are dropped at what they were able to do in 2025.

As a reminder, you can see your own best-of numbers from 2025 by checking out your UDisc Replay.

All-time leaders in a few stats can be viewed by anyone with the UDisc app whenever they like.

To see current all-time leaderboards in various categories on UDisc, open the app, tap You, tap the three lines in the top right corner, tap Leaderboards, and then tap Player records.

Some Notes About the Rankings

There are a few things worth knowing about the rankings you'll find here.

Relating to privacy:

  • Out of respect for UDiscer privacy, only disc golfers who've opted to appear on public leaderboards in the UDisc app are included in these rankings.
  • We never reveal any personal information about a UDiscer unless they've given express consent that it's okay for us to do so.
  • Unless we have spoken to a player, we use the pronoun "they" to refer to them rather than "he" or "she."

Relating to legitimacy:

  • We used a few ways to check whether UDiscer totals from last year in various categories appeared legitimate. When there were too many red flags, we left them out of the rankings.

Additionally, one UDiscer who doesn't appear in any of these rankings this year is Kyle Harrop (UDisc name kyleharrop). Harrop is probably the world leader in most unique disc golf courses played all time. We talked with Harrop at length about his course collecting lifestyle for a post last year, so when we saw that his course count this year was so astronomical that it seemed virtually impossible, we shot him an email to ask about it.

Harrop, an avid spreadsheet keeper for his various collections who only started using UDisc within that last few years, told us that in 2025 he had put in rounds played on various courses from previous years into his UDisc account, so his UDisc counts for the year wouldn't be super accurate. He himself suggested it would be best to leave him out of rankings this year, so we've done just that. See you next year, Kyle!

The 2025 #1 in this category, mfwafw, regained his crown from 2023 after a second-place showing in 2024. We talked with this Wisconsin player back in 2023 if you'd like to learn more about how he's able to maintain a spot near the top of this category year after year.

It is worth noting that here a round on a nine- or six-hole course counts the same as one on an 18- or 24-hole. If you'd like to see who played the most disc golf holes, scroll down to the next section.

This is the first time we've included the number of holes players completed in this annual look at disc golfers who topped the charts in different categories on UDisc. There are some ranking shake-ups and two names that appear here that don't on the top 10 for rounds played (welcome, seppokos and jmwoodward). Remember that "rounds" could consist of any number of holes that made up a complete layout on UDisc.

This year's #1, Kyle Harrop (UDisc name kyleharrop) is the current leader in overall courses played all time on UDisc and likely holds the overall world record for unique disc golf courses played. The former employee of aerospace company Northrop Grumman turned highly respected craft beer brewer has played over 4,600 courses, which is more than one quarter of the nearly 17,000 disc golf courses in existence.

It's probable, too, that his 1,032 new courses played last year is a world record.

Who Spent the Most Time Playing Disc Golf in 2025?

These 10 players spent the most time playing rounds of disc golf recorded with UDisc in 2025:

Rank UDisc Player
Hours Played Hours as Full Days Rank Change 2024 to 2025
1 javaman 2,238 93.1 New
2 mfwafw 1,564 65.2 ▼1
3 kyleharrop 1,452 60.5 New
4 lonewolf1 1,445 60.2 ▲6
5 genekouba 1,326 55.3 ▼3
6 stompymad 1,265 52.7 New
7 ccox11 1,224 51.0 New
8 capandcheese 1,185 49.4 New
9 steveg425 1,096 45.7 New
10 cdg424 1,040 43.3 ▼7

Though fifth in total rounds played, this category's leader, javaman, destroyed everyone in time spent on the course. We were a bit skeptical of the ridiculous lead they had in this category (nearly a month's worth of 24-hour days more disc golf than #2, for real?), but, as you'll see in the next section, they won most steps taken during rounds by a whopping 1.63 million, which leads us to believe javaman is legit.

9 learjetz 2,961,144 1,339 2,155 New
10 barpov3 2,917,676 1,320 2,124 New

The number of steps javaman took last year playing disc golf would have been enough to cover all of U.S. Route 50, which starts on the east coast in Ocean City, Maryland, and extends to West Sacramento, California. But we bet they had a lot more fun playing disc golf than they would have hoofing it down a highway.

You don't need to take the number of steps these players did to get health benefits out of disc golf rounds. Learn the positive things your disc golf steps are doing for you in "How Far You Walk During Disc Golf Rounds & Why It's So Healthy."

The players above participated in more of these events run with the completely free UDisc Leagues than anyone else last year.

Who Played Disc Golf in the Most U.S. States in 2025?

There are by far more disc golfers and disc golf courses in the U.S. than in any other country. Here are the players who recorded rounds on courses in the most U.S. states last year:

Rank UDisc Player U.S. States  (+ D.C.) Played In
T1 janderson42 49
T1 cameronbanks24 49
3 g2br4lyf 48
4 roadto501 35
5 tglass 33
T6 lushaun 32
T6 knucklehead87 32
T8 glenncmagnusen 31
T8 obiwanwolfgang 31
T10 startup 30
T10 sammasaurus 30
T10 ccox11 30

With D.C. being part of these stats, 51 was the top number. The two players tied at #1 both hit a course in D.C. plus every contiguous U.S. state, leaving out only Alaska and Hawaii.

Racking up courses in different states tends to be something people do during special years and special trips, so props to sammasaurus for being the only player to repeat in this top 10 in 2024 and 2025.

Stay Inspired to Play as Much Disc Golf as Make Sense for You

Sharing these stats is our way of tipping a hat to some of the most dedicated disc golfers in the world. Obviously, combinations of work, family, course access, and many other factors make putting up totals like the ones in this post extremely difficult for most of us – and that's nothing to be ashamed of.

We hope seeing these stats expands your idea of what's possible, and the next time you're weighing whether to use a bit of free time on a pretty day to get out and play, you'll grab your discs and squeeze in a round of disc golf that'll be healthy for body and mind.
