Absolutely fantastic course and usage of the property. I personally love the OB stakes, and how a lot of holes require you to hit some tough landing zones. I think a lot of people will come play it once then lose a couple of discs and not want to return. I love that it’s punishing, but I’d much rather get my disc beyond an OB line than just losing it. Obviously, it’s the middle of summer, but I think by the time it all dies down we could open Another Round Asheville 2 with all the lost discs. Other than that, a super fun course that I really enjoyed!

Great course that offers what no course in the area has. Open shots with a lot of airspace to shape shots. The fairways are pretty fair and the rough is not great to land in. A few spots the rough is really horrible, so after playing once you just know what sides of what fairways to avoid.

Wide open on an old golf course. Love the work that was done to add to Asheville's already amazing disc golf courses. This course is distinguished by its wide open shots, a rarity around here. My nitpicks would be the short teepads and tall rough. The rough will likely solve itself in fall. The very defined ob is a plus, and it has a creative layout to make some open shots have intended routes. I feel it is worth 10$ to play based on the ability to air out distance drivers and all of the aforementioned qualities.

Definitely a pro level course from the long/blue tees. Requires aggressive 350-400 ft golf shots to get birdie looks. Even the sub 300ft holes aren't gimmes. Obviously, there's lots of artificial OB since it's such a wide open space. So, plays tougher than it looks. Teepads could've been a few feet longer? But, understandable considering this is temp course. Additionally, the rough is very rough right now. Weeds out there growing up to 8 ft tall. Keep an eye on your discs. Pro tip: wear pants and bring an umbrella for shade.

Being a local, was good but don’t think I’ll be playing more than 2 rounds a year. Can get better experience with Jackson, EFRP, and North Cove. Would return a bit more if $5 a round. Plus would be happy to help support a historic course more at this price. Also, tee pads small but fine.

Great change of pace for the area. You really need to play golf to score. The tee pads are my only complaint, a bit short for my liking. But overall a really fun, challenging course.

Amazing course. Rough is very high and is very difficult to find discs in, but that’s the only issue with the course. Every shot is designed extremely well where distance matters but placement is key. The short holes still have teeth and every hole is extremely fair

Like the concept, execution can be better. I’ve double mando on 9; like the island hole on 16

Wide open shots. Not well kept. Not worth spending your money on.

First time playing here. It’s wide open but challenging enough to wanna play it again. Definitely worth the $10.

Best course ever wow!!! Skewing the rating so more people will play at this hellhole over highland. A course designed to make you hate disc golf, no doubt. This has to be the most unenjoyable course in America. Even when I play poorly, I’d usually rather be playing disc golf than most things. But you couldn’t pay me to play here again and I live right next to it. Laughable that they charge $10 🤣

The course is better than a four, but not quite a four and a half. The t pads are a little short, but they are manageable as they are easy to navigate from the edges. The whole designs are excellent. With the OB being well placed and fair. The rough is very tall, but if you have a spotter, there are no issues. People who don't like the rough, throw putters and stay in the fairway. And excellent addition to the Asheville area, especially since hurricane Helene has damaged so many courses. I hope it can stay for a long time, but I'm sure the golf course wants to reopen the Donald Ross design. Thanks to everyone who put this in for the wnc area

This course is unique for our area, and a lot of fun. But the rough needs considerable work. My friend lost 4 discs in one round with no water in play.

Very fun course. Fair OB, good shot distances, good upkeep on fairways. My only issue with it is the rough is extremely thick. If you put a disc in the rough don’t expect to find it. I’d love to see the rough trimmed back off fairways a bit.
