About the course

New Full 18 layout is OPEN with several new holes! This long par 61 course is built on the Helene damaged front nine of the Asheville Municipal Golf Course. It features two tee pad placements per hole (Blue at over 7,700 feet, Red at over 6,200 feet) an indoor snack bar, restrooms, outdoor pavilion space and a warm up area with practice baskets and a visionary net.

The course is better than a four, but not quite a four and a half. The t pads are a little short, but they are manageable as they are easy to navigate from the edges. The whole designs are excellent. With the OB being well placed and fair. The rough is very tall, but if you have a spotter, there are no issues. People who don't like the rough, throw putters and stay in the fairway. And excellent addition to the Asheville area, especially since hurricane Helene has damaged so many courses. I hope it can stay for a long time, but I'm sure the golf course wants to reopen the Donald Ross design. Thanks to everyone who put this in for the wnc area
