About the course
Located at Highland Brewing Company in East Asheville, this course provides options for beginner, intermediate, and experienced players. A wooded 4-hole putting course allows you to practice putts and short approach shots. The full 18-hole course features multiple teepad and target locations to provide choices for recreational and experienced players. The front 9 is beginner-intermediate friendly with technical lines, slight elevation changes, and convenient re-entry to the "Meadow" where you can purchase beverages before heading to the back nine or replaying the front from different tee locations. Cart friendly. The back 9 features more elevation change, massive trees, water hazards, technical fairways, challenging par 4's, and more lengthy holes, and is meant for intermediate and advanced players. Carts are not as easy to use on the back nine. Highland Brewing beer and food trucks on-site during Taproom Hours. NO OUTSIDE BEER IS ALLOWED. MUST PURCHASE BEER FROM BAR. NO GLASS ON THE COURSE. (Ask for plastic cups or cans when you purchase from the Taproom or Meadow bars.) NO SMOKING outside designated areas.

As it plays right now I’d probably come back and play the front 9 twice instead of the full 18. This course is amazing and there are so many other awesome things here + the beer is on point. Must play if you’re in Asheville. If the back 9 is cleared a bit more it will be top notch. Only other notes are that there is great signage but playing it for the first time was confusing as there are sometimes 2 pin positions and sometimes 2 teepads but it wasn’t consistent throughout so it was kind of hard to know where you are throwing. UDisc helps but still tough when there are other groups behind you. Wasn’t sure how to get to hole 18 so a sign or two for that might be nice. Really great work on this property overall, it’s basically an adult amusement park🤩

Only played front nine. Pretty fun, well marked, Mostly Short and woodsy with some elevation that makes for some interesting shots Good pads and baskets. Not far from the highway for a quick round if driving through. I enjoyed it as a break in my drive. Of course there's the brewery too...

Ace runs galore in the front. Challenging, wooded par 4’s in the back! Incredibly well maintained venue (brewery, music stage, volleyball courts) with a DG course that’s well thought out. Fun and challenging lines, with lots of options.
