A hidden gem in Asheville! Great location and training ground. I frequent here everyday as its walking distance from my office. If you want to play a real 18 hole course, go elsewhere. If needles or homeless people aren't your thing, it's not for you.

I play at Aston Park all the time, and I even got my first ace there on Hole 4 (114 ft). It’s a solid little pitch-and-putt course—short, beginner-friendly, and perfect if you just want to squeeze in 6, 12, or a quick 18. That said, it can be a bit of a mixed experience. There’s definitely a noticeable homeless presence, and sometimes it feels like parts of the course turn into a hangout spot. I’ve seen everything—from a couch in the fairway, to a TV on the ground, to dog 💩 under basket 1 and there’s is always trash, cigarette butts, and “Easter eggs” scattered around everywhere. To be fair, most of the time the people out there are chill and will move if you’re playing. It’s rarely confrontational—just something you have to navigate. There’s also a local group that occasionally feeds people right in the middle of fairway 6, which can be a little frustrating. Even with all that, I really think this course should stick around: -Short layout = easy to play however many holes you have time for -Great for beginners learning the game -Tons of ace run opportunities -Some nice views and a good use of the space It’s a classic spot with a lot of character—it just needs a little more care and attention to keep it enjoyable for everyone.
