Battle Park DGC

Really nice course with challenging shots. Includes a good mix of holes and shots. Tee pads mostly follow a paved walking path with a few turf pads as well. Watch for walkers and bikers. Probably not a beginner friendly course with the length of holes. Very pretty and also mostly shaded.

Fun course in a really nice park next to a rocky rushing section of the river, making it one of the more scenic courses in Eastern NC. Mostly wooded shots with a couple open holes, solid shot variety as well. Main critiques are that signage is not great and some fairways are pretty rough. Probably the top course in the area

Needs more navigation signs. Had to use UDisc to navigate where the hole locations were. Easy to get turned around on this course. Fun play though with nice river views.

Lots of potential. As a 1st time playing this course I had a tough time finding pads and baskets. There are NO worn trails from pad to basket or basket to pad. Lots of trails but none will take you where you want to go.

Fun and challenging track. Could use a but more signage including pin placement from tee box. Absolutely gorgeous location. Accurate pars so if you shoot well you know you shot well.

Make the baskets yellow kind of hard to see red sometimes and definitely should have signs marking where to go but with udisc its easy to find where to go. Definitely worth going though, easier course with some long difficult shots as well.

Great, challenging course, could use some short tees for longer holes when people want to play a shorter round

Beautiful course. Crosses pedestrian path and mountain bike paths. Several holes border river but it’s not in play for most shots. Several very tight shots and a few long holes (400-800+). Only real complaint is the course is very difficult to navigate without the app. Tee signs have no map and long holes are difficult to see basket.

Baskets need flags. Brightly colored.

Beautiful course, fairways are not cleared out and kind of hard to navigate to next tee pad.

This is a fun course that winds through a popular walking-trail park. Most of the tees are just a painted line on the greenway trail, which isn’t my fav. The tee signs only display the hole number and hole length, which made it difficult to find the fairway/basket on some of the longer holes — particular the par 5. The fairways aren’t fully defined yet, which made it difficult at times to find the line on a hole. Discraft baskets are OK but I wish the hole number was more prominent.

Very scenic track that could benefit from better signage. Overall worth the trip of you are close.

Hard to find some of the tee pads and baskets. Great course. A lot fun. Group vote 3. Personally I give it 4. New course always gets an extra. The baskets show next tee pad. Tee pad all marked with distance to pin. Some baskets hard to find

Difficult to follow. Assuming P3 construction will enhance signage, literature etc. great for a hike if you’re into lots of steps. Walked about 3 miles total. You’ll definitely want to use the app to follow baskets and tee pads.

Unsafe and not maintained. Tee signs are unhelpful. Teepads mostly play from multi use paths. Mountain bike trails wrap through the whole course.

Awesome course with tight wooded fairways and great views! Give this some time to get beaten in and it’ll be one of the best courses on a wide radius.

Upkeep is rough at the moment and leaves eat your discs

Great fun course! Nice mix of tough lines, easy shots, and fun shots. Great overall course, just needs to be beat in a little bit.

Rocky mounts newest disc golf course. Brand new professional level baskets. A mix of high quality concrete and turf tee pads. Battle park is a beautiful park. The course itself is heavily wooded with only 3 open holes. Battle park demands hitting your lines and shaping your shot well.
