About the course

Play through rock formations, over water, through tight fairways, and elevation! The Main layout is one of St. George's most difficult courses. You will find yourself rewarded for good shots and punished for bad ones. Fairways are tight and lined with thick brush. The course becomes more difficult in the summer as rain and warm weather brings significant growth to the plant life around the course. This is the ultimate challenge in Southern Utah. The Quick 9 Hole Loop layout is great for beginners as it avoids many of the most difficult holes on the course. The layout also provides players with a layout that plays faster and ends back where you started. Intermediate, Amateur and Pro players will find challenges on every hole with demanding tee shots, narrow fairways and specific landing zones. Beginners will find significant difficulty on many of the holes in the Main layout. Tee shots must be straight and accurate to avoid being punished off the fairway. It is recommended for beginners to play the "Quick 9 Hole Loop" layout as it avoids many of the difficult holes and is much shorter overall. Methodical and careful play will result in lower scores while being reckless and inaccurate can lead to many extra strokes.

0 upkeep on this course/ or any cousres around Saint George. They do not care about upkeep. Course is really hard and I’m intermediate. I’ve heard pros call this course hard. Definitely not one you want to start on and it needs some huge upkeep from the city

Beaverwood Disc Golf Course is a great mix of approachable and technical play. The first three holes ease you in with more open, forgiving lines, making it a solid warm-up. After that, the course quickly tightens up and becomes more technical, requiring accuracy and smart shot placement to navigate the wooded sections. I started a solo round around 7 PM, which added a bit of a challenge as the light started fading. By hole 9, visibility got low enough that I had to call it—spent a little too long searching for a disc to keep going comfortably. That said, I’ll take it as a win… at least this time I didn’t lose any discs! Overall, it’s a fun course with a good progression in difficulty. Just make sure to start early or bring some glow gear if you’re planning an evening round.
