About the course

Newly established course at Rolesville High. 3 sets of tees (advanced, intermediate, rec). Open and wooded holes with one water carry. Since course is new some rough needs to be broken in. Made to be an alternative to local courses. 9 pro baskets and 9 temp baskets. No tee pads. ONE PERSON MAINTAINS COURSE. BE KIND IN REVIEWS.

History

Course started out as a small beginner friendly 9 hole around the school buildings used to teach/introduce disc golf to beginner students. School growth and added buildings required moving the course to the outer limits of the property away from common traffic. It started out with 9 temp baskets. The teacher who created, designed and maintains the course by himself won a competition through Dynamic Discs Pitch for Pins and was gifted 9 Veteran baskets. He now, using the 9 temp and 9 new baskets, has established an 18 hole course with three sets of tees for beginner to advanced levels. He is the only one who works on it and maintains the property.

This course has great signage, amazing shot variety, beautiful scenery, elevation change, bomb holes, technical holes, beginner to pro options, benches, easy navigation from hole to hole and a great vibe overall! The only two things you can knock this course for is the tee pads and prickers/ rough. What I say is I rate the course on the value of the shots, layout and variety and most of the time the tee pad options work just fine and the course seems to be having constant improve! For the rough/ prickers: if you throw just close to where you need to be then that shouldn’t be a problem 😂😂 ( prickers only come into play on a couple holes if you throw way out of the way) Overall this course is amazing and has the potential to be one of the best in the area when In full form.
