About the course
The course plays through a pretty canyon and open forested meadows between Seventh Mountain Resort and Lava Island Falls. This is a shared recreational area with several intersecting trails on holes 2-5 and 17-19. Watch carefully for other users and always yield to horses, hikers, bikers, and gophers. Don't forget to tip your caddy.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Avoid using Apple or Google Maps for driving directions. They both route you through blocked forest service roads, which requires a long walk to the first tee. Instead, continue west on Cascade Lakes Highway for about 0.4 miles past Seventh Mountain Resort, then turn left onto USFS 41 (Dillon Falls Road). About 0.3 miles later, take another left at the sign for Lava Island Falls and then a third left 0.2 miles later at the dirt power line road. Follow the power line road to the end, and park near the back of the clearing on the right hand side of the road.
"Remember Danny, two wrongs don't make a right . . . but three lefts do"--modified Ty Webb quote (Caddyshack circa 1980).

They did a recent controlled burn making it pretty Duffy. Probably won't play again until next year

Really fun lines and easy to navigate. My favorite renegade course along with face rock and horse butte.
