About the course

Old equipment, new home! Just designed 18 basket course with constant improvements being made! No built T-pads, but grading and framing is being done currently! New 18 layout is playable though! It’s 30 minutes from Joshua Tree and requires base access. If you’re not in the military or one of their approved guests, you’ll need to ask for a sponsorship from the Golf Pro Shop which requires providing personal info - DL license, DOB, last 4 of social. Can’t just let anybody on a military base, right? Once approved via email, you go to the Visitor Center to fill out the paperwork and get your pass. This takes about 15 minutes. It definitely takes some work to get on the base (if you’re not in the military) but it’s a fun course and unique experience. There’s a big Army tank parked near the 7th tee and you basically have the course to yourself. Beer, liquor minis, and snacks in the Pro Shop.

It would be nice to have the courses separate so golfers and disc golfer don't interfere with each other or worry about getting hit. It needs to atleast have signs and a direction to be able to follow the couse. It needs interest in order to justify the cost but also needs to be a better course to get interest.

No tee pads, teeing areas not marked, some baskets are bent and very crooked, golfers regularly shoot onto shared fairways without warning. It’s better than nothing but disc golf is clearly not a priority to this location based on upkeep and etiquette.
