Incredible course! I understand why they call it the beast of east Austin. The par fours are good opportunities for birdies, but some of the short part threes is are brutal.

Technical course with reasonable lines and unforgiving rough (creek is in play on many holes). Well maintained and a good challenge even from the short tees (note - the signs for each hole at the long tee, no signs at the shorts; use UDisc or check the signs before walking up to the next tee)

The beast to the east of Austin… a gnarly track with brutal, thorny rough and well-maintained tight grass fairways. The only course in the area I have seen rattlesnakes and ticks. It has a long history of hosting competitive events, but in recent years has developed a reputation of having unenjoyably painful, overgrown rough. I say the course still poses a fun challenge, especially some of the par 4s. Strap on your boots, get Texas Tough and exercise your scramble game here on this legendary track.

Tough wooded golf. With a lot of love this course could be amazing. Right now it’s still pretty awesome. Great job on recent cleanup. Rough is really rough 😭

Course is great fun and challenging but don’t go after rain. Mud created super slick tee pads and was a struggle to even walk the course.

Extremely overgrown right now. There are a handful of holes that are almost unplayable. The maintenance staff need to come out here and clear up the fairways.

creek beds are overgrown. The course needs some love. Tee shots are overgrown from the long tees. Needs a couple of workdays so the parks department can just maintain mowing.

A few baskets need to be reset and 13 is like trying to throw through a 150' hallway. Playable but needs a trim in spots.

Tight fairways and a mixture of short and long holes. Hole #12 needs work and is almost unplayable from the long tees. Hole #13 is a little too tight in its current state and needs a trim. When the course is properly maintained it is one of the most beautiful in the area.
