About the course

Public parking is in the circle around the mailboxes. There is a sign identifying the practice basket and the first tee. The course loops around in the woods behind the dog park and returns the player back where they began. There are some nice elevation holes and new wooden bridges to access the different holes.

Short but tricky holes, with narrow but fairly well-defined fairways - precision is needed! A couple possible ace runs. Played this course in the winter but can imagine it’s even more challenging with more foliage on the trees.

Lots of poison ivy in the warmer months, pants are recommended. Some areas stay muddy after it rains. It was a little confusing walking from #8 to #9 as you pass by #3, so I placed some logs there a while back to help direct traffic. I live nearby and try to keep this course clean, though it’s due for a litter run. On May 14 I removed a fallen tree that narrowly missed the basket at #7. The entrance sign mentions two tee pads per hole, but this is not the case. Every hole has one tee pad and max out at 210’ or less, so leave the long distance drivers in the car. Very tight, punishing lines that are great for working on accuracy and finesse. No water hazards, just some steep wooded gullies that will punish an overzealous or inaccurate arm. Fun course for a quick putters-only round, but don’t be fooled by its length - this is no beginner’s course.
