@chuckster123
teas are hard to find, very technical, and not maintained. However, is the only one in the area
@pjmehaffey
Grass long. Edges of fairways overgrown. Inconsistent Am tee pads. Finding AM tee pads near impossible without someone who has played the course. Has a ton of potential.
@loganburge23
Really poor upkeep and hard to find, but not a terrible course. Just needs a lot of work
@willybt
Slowly but surely the course is getting some love. The Pro Tees have been neglected for a very long time, but one by one they are being taken care of. Hole 21 is much more open, the rest of the Jesus thorns will be removed when the hornets are gone. Holes 2 and 3 are much more open. Old hole 9 is getting a face lift and will return. Hole 15 will have a gap in the trees for a straight shot to the basket, and so much more. Most of the locals I know only play the short tees, and they have been marked much better lately. Keep letting us know what you notice that needs some work. Maps on UDisc are pretty accurate, but tee signs could be updated. Distances on UDisc are done by flight path...
@mattunglesby
The course was once really nice… but sadly, it’s been neglected by maintenance crew. Needs to be cleaned up, or possibly reworked. Even though I live close, I’m forced to drive to Hidden Meadow.
@kobelc13
Need to clean up some baskets and tee pads other than that great course baskets 11 and 5 to be exact
@lifeline79
Beautiful course, playing around the old oaks is amazing. The park could put more into upkeep. With a bit more attention to upkeep and beautification this place would be top notch. FYI don’t go after wet weather It’s soggy.
@bikebike24
Lots of mosquitos and fire ants, but a solid course.

10 yrs since I’ve played out at flannie. Still a fun track! I will say. Some things could use an update to make the course more enticing. Flanacher is a bit ‘out of town’. I was happy all 21 holes have permanent* tee pads(concrete pavers). But. Not ideal. Feels like your run up is over roots or a cracked sidewalk. Better then nothing…. Updated tee signs with more accurate distances, better visual to help direct the shot. Maybe some additional signage down some fairways to help confirm where the basket is. Quite a few holes are blind tee shots(can not see the basket on the tee pad) and are not short holes. Lol Took a light jog on a few holes to find the bucket before throwing. it didn’t help the baskets are older and are not very vibrant. They catch decently well. Mach3 era DGA. Flanacher is a good time and would recommend it to anybody who is wanting to play a course that is not nearly as crowded as highland and not as dangerous as scottlandville. A more advanced level players course. I hope Baton Rouge will one day reassert its dominance for bad ass courses in south Louisiana. Until then I’m happy flanacher is still here.
@alexhertzog
Recent maintenance on the course makes it playable again. If they keep the grass trimmed and overgrowth at a minimum, I’ll be back
@cpfalgoust
Fun course! Not in as bad of shape as most of the comments will make you think. Some holes still need a bit of work, and the signs look ancient, but overall a good time for sure. Can see how it would be very muddy after a rainy day. I plan to come back to play again sometime.
@jakeman28
Beautiful course. Looks like it’s not often used. Can have frightening spider presence, but very few spiders around the course today.
@ericamilynn
NOT GREAT GOT ARACHNOPHOBIA! it’s infested with spiders
@brianphillips
This could be an amazing course.. needs work, hole 2 is a joke and needs clean up as well as 3, several tee signs need to be updated, holes did not play like shown. Course needs navagation, several holes just need some simple tree branch trimming, and it would be nice to see more mowing around the basket areas and wood paths grass is tall
@prix560
New to disc golf but throughly enjoyed the course. I will be back if the weather cooperates. I thought there was a good mix of open throws and wooded throws. My only real complaint was hole #2 seems too tight and over grown with Bamboo. I will be back.
@unkljeauxjeaux
This would be a beautiful course if it had a more frequent maintenance/upkeep.
@wmunson
Fairways decently cut. Hole 2 is almost unplayable. A few down trees on some fairways and on 21's teepad. Fun wooded holes and some open bombs. Forces both forehand and backhand drives.
@bayousbest
Favorite area course. Great length and away from random people. Not a great place to play after heavy rain though.
