About the course

Expert Private Mountain Course, but also novice friendly - a signed waiver is required, available @ course start. Be ready for lots of elevation change as that is a unique component of the course design. Description: Every hole will challenge players to consider their options. We are not multi-use or a theme park in any way. You will find a physically and technically challenging, private, backcountry mountain course with steep uphill, high precision, long bombs, and cross mountain shots (bring hiking gear and water). Accuracy wins out over a strong arm on a number of holes, but there are also challenges for a good strong arm. Every hole has fairways and landing zones (as noted on the abundant tee signs) but this is natural mountain disc golf, not some bland park course, so you will encounter some brush and trees. There is also a 1 - 2 acre Putting Park with 9 Marksman baskets. It's a great way to work on your putting and, for people who are new to the sport, to have a good time without the intimidation of driving off of a tee. Remote, peaceful and quiet with impressive alpine views and abundant wildlife. PLAY at YOUR OWN RISK COURSE. No facilities available (see rules below). Minimum Pay to Play Guidelines (in addition to a signed waiver): Per day: $15/person/day 2025 full season pass: $150 All pay to play fees go directly to course improvement and maintenance. Waivers and course maps are available at the course start. Signed waivers should be placed in the donations pole at the course start. Course Guides (people who will show the course) are available and eager to introduce players and groups to Redtail YEAR ROUND with prior arrangement. An optional 9 holes of play is available via a short trail that goes from basket 6 to the tee pads for 16, look for the signs at the tee pad for 7. Other mashups are available too, contact Mark or Dali for details RULES---- (violating these rules could lead to immediate closure of the course for everyone, not just the perpetrator): A SIGNED WAIVER (available at the course start) IS REQUIRED to be on the course grounds (call 970-439-0004 or email [email protected] for assistance). Being on the course without having signed a waiver and putting it in the donations pole is TRESPASSING Cleaning up after your dog is not necessary EXCEPT near teepads, and on fairways and greens where your fellow players are going to soil their nice shoes, discs, and picnic kit. Please take any trash with you and follow the "leave it as you found it" motto.
