This is the farthest of the Baton Rouge courses for most residents and that holds it back significantly now that we have a variety of courses to choose from. On a nice Sunday evening I would expect to see multiple groups on the course yet we were the only group for our entire round. The course is varied, challenging and decently maintained despite mud from a recent rainstorm; a lot of the holes are exciting though the first two are punishing with the water hazards. The signage is lacking but its not terribly difficult to find the next tee especially with a picture if the layout, and the scenery is very nice. Yet I don't feel any of that is justified when I can get great experiences from 4 courses half the distance from my house, however, I am still glad to have it as another option. If you want to try it for fun or you just live closer by definitely give it a round, I just won't be making the drive for it.

Great newish layout, especially if you have a good forehand. Well maintained, with some fun technical shots, but clean and fair.
