Practice Basket: No Parking Situation: A small lot Number of Holes: 21, 18 plus Holes A, B, and C Difficulty Level: Family Friendly+, a great place to bring brand new players to check out the sport and catch the bug, also a great course for Intermediate+ players to work on shots within 280ft and approach game Cart friendly: Yes, very friendly Water Dangers: No Other Dangers: Yes, other park goers Bathrooms/Water Fountains: Not sure, might be but didn’t notice Tee areas: One set of concrete tees Benches: A few spread out Trashcans: Yes at the parking lot Signage/Wayfinding: No signs but wayfinding is decent, best to use UDisc to figure out the way Overall Rating: 4.5/5 Rating Reason: It’s a great course for all skill levels to enjoy and have fun, nothing to challenging and it was well kept up and had some nice views. Would highly recommend to anyone Improvements: A practice basket, a few more benches, and updated tee signs Other Notes: This is the oldest active course in NC as of 2025

Great park course. Long enough to be a bit challenging with limited obstacles to keep it interesting.

Great course. Beginner friendly. I really enjoyed the course. Easy walk. Open and mildly wooded holes. Some signs say par 4 but all holes are par 3. Hope to make it back again.

I was able to RH backhand every hole even the forehand holes are short enough to bh turnover. It's more open than a lot of Carolina golf but still lines to hit. I enjoyed it thanks

Without wind the course is mostly lawn darts and 200-250ft gaps.. Classic NC disc.

Great beginner course, well maintained. Good layouts, you can play 9, 18, or 21 holes and end up back at/near the parking lot each time. Has a few trash cans but could use more. Has a bathroom tucked away. My new favorite place to throw plastic.

Horizons Park is a very easy and enjoyable course. It sports large concrete tee boxes, nice tee markers, and a layout that meanders through a bunch of very mature hardwood trees. It’s gorgeous and lots of fun.

Fun course for beginners or those that want to get a great score for confidence. Only real negative is that, on some holes, ace runs can end up on the next tee pad due to hyzer/slight power control issues. Highly recommended for beginners. Great putters and (some) mids course for intermediate players.
