Disc golf course

Hummel Park

Omaha, NE

Huge amount of elevation throughout an extremely wooded course. Very technical course with tight lines on every hole, and a creek in play on a few of holes. Off the fairways can be very rough and filled with nettles; pants and bug spray are highly recommended. Prepare to be hiking up and down hills all day, and looking for discs. Not friendly to singles with no spotter, or first timers that don’t know the course. Tee signs aren’t accurate.

Not for the faint of heart. Lots of wooded hills and elevation change. Good exercise if you aren't chasing plastic.

Confusing as a first timer. Had to tag along with some locals or else I’d still be lost out there. Lots of trails that aren’t a part of the course. Lot of going up and down. Pack light and bring water. Has potential to be a great course once you learn it

I was absolutely humbled by Hummel. Technical lines will make you throw every shot you have in your bag, elevation change like I’ve never seen, and there is some type of obstacle between you and the basket every hole. Its a beast.

Just needs pads to be 5 stars.

It is not perfect. However, it is close. When I played last year, almost all tees were dirt, which was fine when dry. Some signs were missing. At first, navigation was tricky in a couple spots. For me, the elevation changes are awesome. The area does a great job to keep the winds out of play. Out of the courses I've played in the Lincoln, Omaha, and Kansas City areas, I feel this is THE course to play. Not advisable to play when wet and highly recommend to play in group.
