About the course
Course is undergoing maintenance so some teepads/baskets may not be accurate on UDisc. 2026 seems to be the year where we should see permanent teepads on every hole!
Great course with elevation changes, use of natural mandos, and a couple water hazards.
Originally a Tom Monroe designed course that has been redesigned to add multiple teepads, basket locations, and cater to most skill levels.
History
Originally a 9 hole course designed by Tom Monroe. A couple years later it was turned into an 18 hole course. In 2024, Austin Rush and the City of Heflin have changed some of it to turn it into a 20 hole course with multiple tee pads and basket locations.

This course was challenging but a beautiful one. I definitely loved the variety of shots you can take on each hole. If you are in the area I would recommend this one over Choccolocco course!

This is my home course so I'm a little partial to it, but it is very beautiful. there was a tournament on 11/22/25 and the course is now in excellent condition.
