@aklimov
The new layout is alright. But lots of annoying people who don't know how to be quiet.
@mattedison492
Once they get tee signs, it will be amazing! Love all the shop shapes
@michalec12
Course improvements actively underway. Course is still playable and solid, but looks like it should be getting better soon.
@mrmclovin420
Pretty good park styl course. Short tees are fairly easy so i guess I’ll try longs next time
@spletthrowszer
So, they dropped a lot of trees. I mean, like a lot. All the shots that were fun and challenging are now wide open. Sure, come play the cool quadruple mando rock circle and then play mostly wide wide open holes. Don’t get me completely wrong here, it’s still fun. I’m just very bummed at all the lost trees and wide open holes.
@letrandan
Updated layout plays great, signage and way finding a little confusing at times (hole 5 tee sign and hole 17 pin placement on tee sign slightly off in my opinion). Very fun course with a wide variety of shots.
@jdestef23
Top tier park course, lots of trees and shot shapes, many height changes
@tonyengen
Drastic improvement from the old layout. Much better use of the pond, I would have done two pond shots though. New baskets are great and new pads are as well. Well done Shakopee 👍
@jonnyt123
I dig the new layout; it’s a little better than before. This course will never be a 5 star course you travel to, but for the Shakopee area, it is perfectly fine. My favorite additions are the long 350+ par 3s. They add a much needed challenge that was once easy, short, par 4s. Once new signage is in and old tees and signs are removed, it will be a great Twin Cities course. It would be very confusing to a beginner right now.
@prestidigit8tor
A course redesign done right. Keeps elements of the old design but improves the areas that needed it. Holes have a good amount of difficulty with a good amount of trees. Course has a really good flow. Course gets very busy with disc golfers and non-disc golfers.
@ericwestlund
Really miss the old course, but the new layout is refreshing! New challenges and more shot variety. Long, open bombs are gone but replaced by a handful of long, more technical tee shots. Overall, still a very nice park course, with lots of new amenities!
@ummyaumm
New design is better. Not finished yet, though.
@bigglz
Love this city park style golf. It was come a long way, since I first played it years ago. My only gripe is a couple tee pad locations, could use some elevating so they don't ice over in the winter
@chuck15335
Played the short course. Short tee pads are dirt/grass with a board. Don’t know if they will be concrete in the future or not. Hope so 🤞
@mitchfedewa
It's ok. Infinite mando is fun though
@jugdecook
I am a big fan of the new layout. Much thought was put into this redesign. This keeps many elements of the old layout and improves on them. Well done! The water carry on 10 is about 215-220, so not super far. Pretty open spots with mature and younger trees and then grass. Nice basket placements. UDisc helps find the next pad.
@phillydog
Icey tee pads not shoveled and all ice circle 1's at every basket
@rightious
Not sure what more you can ask from park disc golf. Amazing redesign
@martti
Fun course for bombers, I enjoy letting it rip but dislike all the random park goers who are oblivious to the danger they are in. Also, could be more obstacles and trees on play to add to the challenge. Overall good course, will play during lunch to minimize pedestrian distractions.
