@enbycass
Beautiful course with great hole design and two different bathrooms along the course. The paths are steep, muddy, slippery, and prone to erosion, unfortunately. With some more developed paths and foot bridges, this could be a real destination course.
@rickmillward
Be ready for rugged. Some hole layouts a little odd. 15 and 16 rather ridiculous.
@stoltzjl77
Beautiful course! Challenging with wonderful scenery, lots of risk-reward decisions, up and down and all around a lovely creek
@bhelmick
The distances on signs are listed way higher than actuals on many holes and the shot shapes seem to be added at random. Some way markers are in awful places. The hole difficulty changes drastically. Holes go from laughably short and easy to requiring ma1+ level throws with nothing in-between. The short hole shot variety consists of short, uphill shots or short, downhill shots. The terran is used in the laziest way so even if the lay of the land is different, elevation change is the only factor they used to change it up. The long holes are full of blind shots into fields of 1ft tall ferns and broken tree limbs. Except 18, that hole is pristine. Finally there are TONS of public park areas where random people WILL be on a nice day. Picnic tables and pickle ball courts in C1 and C2. Hole 8 and I think 12 are the prime examples of this. It would be cool if you were already in the area camping I guess but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again.
@aaronsorg
The up and down hiking between so many of the holes is grueling. Not really for the novice or out of shape player. The ferns just off most fairways can hide your disc from easy viewing. Having a spotter is often very helpful.
@xoxojuice
Challenging course but fun. Couple of the holes towards the end were very long and boring… couldn’t see which way the basket was, had to walk a good distance just to see it.
@noahdodge
This course is both peaceful and beautiful. Way finding isn’t too difficult with “next tee” signs and the green diamonds along the course. Lots of elevation change and steep terrain. Even the short open holes are no guaranteed birdie with the slopes the pins are on. Tee pads are small and some have large drop offs, so be careful! The par 4s in the woods are a little tricky as you are often throwing blindly on both drive and approach. Overall a very fun course with good variety. Lastly, Leave your cart at home!
@themonarch
Thought it was a super fun course with challenging long holes with all the woods and some fun putter ace opportunities but be ready to hike cause the front 9 are a steep workout.
@zbaker
Only thing holding it back from being perfect are the gravel tee pads, but honestly you rarely need to do a big run up, midrange drives get it done most of the time. It is such a beautiful course the forest is epic. My favorite course in Appalachia.
@calvinc44
Super fun elevated wooded course. Would’ve liked better signs/tees and variety between holes (all shorts were together and all longs were together) but otherwise had a blast and def recommend
@colbywv
Cool course with lots of different shots. Green diamonds lead you through the course. Well maintained. Super scenery, be ready to hike as there are several elevation changes through the forest. Lots of fun!
@fedeberg
Beautifull area with a lot of elevation on the front 9. Back nine is much more accessible for newer players. Some of the holes could need a bit of trimming, but definitely worth the trip.
@mjevans26
Beautiful and fun course. Definitely a hike, with lots of terrain on the front 9. Narrow, elevated tee boxes can be a challenge on some holes - improving these would make this a 5 star for me.
@shgibbsjr
Nice course. A lot of tough up and downs. Concrete tee pads makes footing hard on drives!
@chelseeleebeck
I loved this course. Sure it’s not Maple Hill. Didn’t have a problem finding holes. Hole 11 tee is back downhill, only one we didn’t see a next tee sign. Should be par 55 and distances are not accurate on UDisc. Could use some stairs here and there. Steep. Unique and beautiful. Deer are frequent. About 35 flights of stairs to climb. No one here. Didn’t lose anything
@helmandollar
I gave it 4.5 because of the gravel tee boxes. Great course, well taken care of and beautiful scenery.
@beej57
I love this course, it’s so fun to play. The holes are unique and differing, with most being heavily technical. The tee pads could be better, but I believe they’re not supposed to put in permanent structures in National Pakrs. It is an intense course physically to walk, but overall very fun
@anthonyscolaro
Great course, clean fun holes, enough variety to keep it interesting. Course is nice and clean
