@duanechris
I tried to leave the rating blank (as "incomplete") but that's not an option, so it gets a 2. In fairness to the course steward, I was warned in the description. But "new course" and "piles of brush in the fairways" doesn't tell the whole story. Holes 1, 3, 7 and 9 are pretty much unplayable, particularly from the blue tees. Holes 4, 5 and 6 in the meadow are quite nice and well designed. Hole 8 is a delight: the fun tunnel shot through rows of planted pines. A woods course player's dream hole. The "experiential" aspect is a nice touch. I appreciate the work to install a golf course for our use. But this course needs A LOT more work to be an enjoyable experience. It was a slog.
@mmcculloughrn
Has huge potential on a beautiful conservation area. But needs some major TLC, had to throw 120 ft chips shots to avoid losing discs due to the condition of the course.
@austingrant2024
The course is very up and down some holes are good some holes make no sense. I would recommend this course for people who just play to mess around not to actually try. The turf is messy, the way around is difficult to find. And the baskets are very nice. Hole 8 is just a straight hole and makes a lot of challenge as it’s short but straight and you don’t want to mess up.
@bdubs29
As someone who has played disc golf at a lot of different courses, this is the worst course I’ve ever played at and it’s not even close. I wish I had better things to say about it, this area needs a playable course, but this is far from being it. Holes 4-6 are enjoyable. Hole 8 is a fun challenge. Almost every other hole is unplayable. Hope they put in some serious work on this course to make it better because this area needs it.
@asheehey22
The signage needs to be placed better (more to explain where to go to next tee) and some holes could be cleared out a bit nicer
@speedyc45
Great course, map is a little outdated/incorrect.
@facepalmer
Hard to find the tees. More of a pitch and put to keep the disc out of long grass.
@chedduh
I can’t remember the last time I have felt so miserable playing a round. The fairways are tight, the rough is heavy and you’re constantly looking for discs. Some of the lines make absolutely no sense. Hole 9 was down right dreadful. It’s a shame since the tees, baskets and signage are very nice.
@solar17
Beautiful spot but needs major TLC
@snowman14
The course is overdue for maintenance. Follow UDisc for directions between holes. Follow the rope up the hill from hole 3 to hole 4. Wear socks and pants.
@kylekakei
4-6 are playable if you don’t mind walking a steep hill, otherwise I guess wait till they fix it up
@tonyburns
Course needs a lot of maintenance. So disappointing especially with Memorial Park being closed, they could have more people playing the course.
@debudave
Well marked course except between 3rd and 4th hole be sure to head up the hill with the rope railing. Played the end of september and no bugs or poison ivy to speak of.
@fortron
Couple holes are extreme in difficulty, but I had a chain out near ace on 8.
@nkoo69
Course shows a lot of potential. When it’s fully built it’s gonna be a great spot. Can’t wait to come back when it’s done.
@kyle2rogers
The course has the potential to be good but the poison ivy makes it impossible to play
@phaidin33
Poison ivy and fire ants everywhere. Only made it to hole 2 before deciding it wasn't worth it
@brockvegas
Really nice course with neat hole designs. HOWEVER, this is a course in a conservation park, not a city park. There are A LOT of bugs in the summer - mosquitos and all kinds of flies, and red ants that love to climb on discs and bags. So before you come, bring lots of bug spray or something to keep them away. It's not something you can ignore!
@chrisbeatty
I recommend redesigning the course to relocate the first 3 holes. Poison ivy is the primary ground cover in that part of the conservation area. Tee pads are level and great that there are red and blue for every hole. Wider cut areas for most areas of the course would help it be more playable. I wouldn’t return until something is done about holes 1, 2, 3 (7 has some big patches too). We did enjoy the informational signage.
@bcnorval
Thé course need a ton of work clearing stumps, cutting brush and grass, too much poison ivy on course. Could not find the path to hole 8. Circled the entire hole using UDisc before getting to it from the road. Some of the pars fro reds are unreasonably low for tightness of lines and length of holes
