As a first timer to the course it was tough to navigate. With construction along several holes, most signs missing, and can't see the basket on all but 5-6 holes it wasn't very fun. At least there were numbers on most baskets and all baskets had red tape to guide you towards the next hole. Without Udisc it would have probably taken me an extra 1/2 hour to navigate the course.
@gabe1111
The course design is great. Just needs a little TLC but it looks like the park is under some maintenance.
@bizarrobigbass
How this course has 4/5 stars is beyond me. Absolutely terrible signage and wayfinding. Shots are not creative and baskets are very difficult to find. It is in desperate need of TLC, i gave it 3 stars because it has potential, but I will probably never play this course again.
@briand55
Tough course with so many long par 3s through the woods. Plenty of elevation changes. Hole 10 so so straight up the hill it’s gimmicky. You could spend an extra 30 minutes walking down the course to find the baskets, as they are not visible from many tee pads. And that this course is rated so highly with absolutely crap signage is amazing.
@mullenma44
Excellent course. One of the best in the area. Big open and clear fairways, great mix of shot variety, open and wooded. This has it all.
@dkelly18
Course is beautiful. Great variety of shots and elevation change. All the significant elevation change is mostly down hill. Tee signs are nonexistent besides a couple of holes and you rely heavily on UDisc. All the udsic maps say the basket is straight and that’s not true at all. For instance hole 18 makes it seem all the way up the hill and it’s a major dogleg right. Only complaint about this course. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
@karlseitz
Fun course, some arrows are wrong causing a few confused times finding the next tee box. Other than that fantastic!
@jonathanfrye
Had a lot of fun playing here. Good variety of shots, beautiful course, not all too challenging, technical gaps to hit, and definitely worth while playing!
@doctormcflick
Great course and layout hole to hole is confusing at times but for the most part it’s easy to navigate also watch out for people fishing on hole 12 green
@alanfosberry
Very poor maintenance, grass is over 2 feet tall on two fairways.
@mgilden
Great variety of wooded and open holes. Sadly this course is in dire need of some TLC with little to no signage and construction everywhere as of late 2024.
@rocdoogie
Top 5 in CT!
@discgolfphoenix
This continues to be 1 of CT’s more popular courses. The layout is great. The DGC needs major upgrades. Tee boxes now have turf but signage is poor & inconsistent. Watch your footing, and that means fairways. Solid elevation and challenging to all levels. Watch out for “The Beast” that continues to swallow plastic off hole 12. There is a new teepee ⛺️ up blocking a path to basket 2 at top of the hill. (Gives teepee ⛺️ 4 a partner). It’s been a couple years since my last review.
@teamhog
Great course. The town and local disc golf group are working to improve the course as part of the park’s master plan.
