About the course

Good variety - some open, some hills and some woods. Water comes into play as well. 6-12-15 Course GPS coordinates are accurate and will take you to the correct parking area. Short tees are available on Hole 2 (Follow the paved path to the corner, the short tee is in the curved area of the path in line with the right-side fairway) and Holes 5, 13, and 18 (the short tee for these holes are in the fairway). Drop zones are on holes 2, 5, 6, 9, and 12. Signage was updated in 2018 to point these tee areas out. Each basket will have tape on the spoke of the basket indicating location of next tee. This course hosts the largest weekly singles league which takes place on Monday’s during the season. The start times moves to 5:00pm as daylight allows. Website link to active Facebook page provides a good place for questions, answers, and schedules.

As a first timer to the course it was tough to navigate. With construction along several holes, most signs missing, and can't see the basket on all but 5-6 holes it wasn't very fun. At least there were numbers on most baskets and all baskets had red tape to guide you towards the next hole. Without Udisc it would have probably taken me an extra 1/2 hour to navigate the course.

This continues to be 1 of CT’s more popular courses. The layout is great. The DGC needs major upgrades. Tee boxes now have turf but signage is poor & inconsistent. Watch your footing, and that means fairways. Solid elevation and challenging to all levels. Watch out for “The Beast” that continues to swallow plastic off hole 12. There is a new teepee ⛺️ up blocking a path to basket 2 at top of the hill. (Gives teepee ⛺️ 4 a partner). It’s been a couple years since my last review.
