About the course

The Commander has been designed with advanced players in mind. This 9,235 ft course will be set back in the woods along our Oak Hill Trail System. It will boast challenging elevation changes and obstacles that demand your attention, precision, and skill. A salute to all pro and amateur players ambitious enough to take on this 18-hole mission.

Disc golf players are getting a little snooty if they think this is a bad course. Hard, yes, but bad, not at all. And with the way things go at Pineland I imagine it will only get better with time. Huge generous tee pads, hard but fair tee shots, manageable fairways, well-thinned roughs. Gotta have a 450’ arm to birdie any of the par 3s but the 4s are almost all gettable with a 350’ arm.

The only problem with this course was the maps set at every tea box. They are so wrong. It’s not even funny. Otherwise great course.
