About the course

First tee is near water treatment facility. Concrete teepads on all 18 holes with 8 long tees (5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 18). Course is very heavily wooded with extreme elevation changes. Using a cart is possible, but there is extreme elevation changes and rocky terrain that makes it difficult.

I would say the current 4.3 rating on this course is very fair. The course design, challenge and scenery is up near 5.0 for a mountain golf course! Even though I found myself walking the wrong way several times, couldn’t help but enjoy the setting and surrounding landscape. It’s unfortunate that so many top-tier courses fall victim to a lack of upkeep over the years. A little dedicated cleanup effort would go a long way. Directionals are poor and some of the fairways/golf lines need to be cleared of ghost branches/thorn bushes/invasive overgrowth. Next time I’m back in this Arkansas area I would definitely play this course again!
