I would say the current 4.3 rating on this course is very fair. The course design, challenge and scenery is up near 5.0 for a mountain golf course! Even though I found myself walking the wrong way several times, couldn’t help but enjoy the setting and surrounding landscape. It’s unfortunate that so many top-tier courses fall victim to a lack of upkeep over the years. A little dedicated cleanup effort would go a long way. Directionals are poor and some of the fairways/golf lines need to be cleared of ghost branches/thorn bushes/invasive overgrowth. Next time I’m back in this Arkansas area I would definitely play this course again!

Great layout and use of the terrain. Beautiful scenery. Lots of up and down. Definitely a winner course. Just need to add in a little bit better signage between the holes, perhaps with markers on the baskets pointing to the next teebox.

The grass is overgrown and finding your way is hard but there's a bathroom and it's absolutely beautiful out there. A challenge worth the trip, just wear long pants.

Beautiful rock outcrops and woods. Some serious uphill hiking but well worth it. Several steep uphill and downhill shots. If you are in the area, it is a must play if you like woods and beautiful hardwoods.

Easily 4 plus if it was maintained. Looks like some of the course hasn't been touched this year at all. Good views and shot selection.

Technical course. Upkeep was not great. I would not consider this beginner friendly. Great scenery and solid hike.

This course is challenging any time of year. This is the time (until they come do maintenance on it) that it's especially hard. Your going to get some ticks but that's expected. Always a killer course and you better be on point.

Bring lots and lots of water! The course also has aggressive horse flies on 16-18

Great shot making course with lots of elevation changes. Lots of fun but definitely leave your cart at home.

Not for the faint of heart. This course is one of my favorites in the state. Treacherous terrain and extreme elevation changes make for an awesome hike if you’re in good shape. Don’t even get your cart out of the trunk. Well worth the physical challenge. Tons of cool hole designs that use the terrain rather than length to present a challenge. 2 layouts to keep it interesting.

Wow. Fantastic course. Great pads, signs and baskets. Very well maintained for a mountain course. Mostly on the shorter side but tight lines make you work for par. Definitely at top 5er.
