About the course

Beginner - intermediate (depending on the wind), mostly open course with a few technical holes and beautiful views of the Columbia River. The Park has campsites and cabins and is only accessible by boat. The course is free to play, but the shuttle boat ride is $5, unless you have a campsite or Cabin. You can also tie off to the public docks or beach your own boat for free. Shuttle boat at St. Helens Marina, 134 N River St., runs Thurs. - Sun., March to November. Contact Camp Host for Shuttle availability. Contact phone number occasionally changes, so check the Sand Island Campground website for most current. Please DO NOT PARK in Marina parking lot, it's reserved for slip Tenants ONLY. Park at Greycliffs Park or on street. Tee markers and signage are in the works. Helpful and constructive reviews with suggestions to help develop this course are always appreciated.

A few easy trails between tees, but mostly open beach walking. Walking in the rough on three baskets could be difficult with errant throws. No dedicated benches at tee pads, but picnic tables available throughout park.

Fantastic for what it is - a lovely little campground course on a beautiful island in the Columbia River. Mostly wide open with wind being the biggest challenge, enjoyable for all experience levels. Great for glow rounds!

The course has had a lot of improvements over the last year. I'm not sure if either can be added but the lack of a potable drinking source and tee signs are the only negatives I can draw from the course currently. It's worth crossing the 1/4 mile across the water from the St Helens marina area.
