Fantastic for what it is - a lovely little campground course on a beautiful island in the Columbia River. Mostly wide open with wind being the biggest challenge, enjoyable for all experience levels. Great for glow rounds!

All but three holes are wide open, and the holes in the trees are less than 150’. Fun island camping course and I understand they can’t go into the camping area. Fun for what it is. Wide open and windy. Bring four discs that are stable and you’re good to go.

The course has had a lot of improvements over the last year. I'm not sure if either can be added but the lack of a potable drinking source and tee signs are the only negatives I can draw from the course currently. It's worth crossing the 1/4 mile across the water from the St Helens marina area.

Having played the course 3 times both 12 hole and 23 hole layouts, I'm looking forward to returning and maybe camping sometime. The original 9 holes play around the end of the island and up the beach. They're mostly open. Many of them are short, but the wind will make you think twice about opening up an ace run with the mighty Columbia River in you peripheral vision. The 3 newer holes(1, 6, and 9) are ridiculously short holes with very technical shots through the trees and over the prickly underbrush. They require accuracy and finesse and maybe a little imagination. In the longer layout, these holes are even tougher as double mandos come into effect. Apart from doing some work in the wind and angle control, take in the sights. The river on one side and historic St. Helens on the other side. Blue herons, nesting osprey, and deer are all about as river traffic lumbers past. On a clear day, you can see views of Mt. St. Helens and maybe a peak of Mt. Hood.

This course navigates around the campground beautifully and presents a fun mix of open and tight wooded shots. Beginner-friendly and with plans to improve signage, this course has a TON of potential!

Was my first time playing the course and it was new to me. I didn't get lost and felt like the tee and hole placements were easy enough to navigate. Wind played a big factor. Bring a towel. And plan on throwing good placement shots. I would say. Most holes are gettable... As long as you can read the wind. Was a great experience playing there for my first time.

Fun course. The wind was challenging winding around the Island at different angles and speeds. Technical shots were fun. I particularly liked the shorter distance overall. Enjoyed boat camping and playing. Would like to play glow here. Definitely a play again course.

Nice, family friendly campground course. Great views and unique island experience. Short, mostly open, with some short technical wooded holes. Nice tee pads, glad they extended them. All the baskets are in place. Challenging for experienced players when the winds really blowing, good for beginners when it's not. Enjoyed that you can camp and play.

Great start for a course! Holes #6 and #8 are missing baskets. Tee pads can get extremely slippery due to sand. Campground staff seem super excited about the course
