Practice Basket: No Parking Situation: Limited, don’t come on weekends as it will most likely be full Number of Holes: 18 Difficulty Level: Intermediate+ (requires shot shaping with accuracy and some some power but anyone can play it if you’re up for the challenge) Cart Friendly: Somewhat to not really, kinda hilly with a decent amount of roots Water Dangers: Not really, some of the low spots hold water but nothing you’ll lose a disc in Other Dangers: Some ground hornets and other park goers Bathrooms/Water Fountains: Yes to both, located at the building in the parking lot area Tee Areas: One set of concrete tees Benches: A few, less than half of the holes had one Trashcans: None on the course but some at the building with bathrooms Signage/Wayfinding: Decent, signs on the baskets pointing to next tee and a few on some trees Overall Rating: 4/5 Rating Reason: It’s much better than it used to be when it was only 12 holes, definitely a little more beginner friendly. Some fun and interesting shot shapes with a little bit of elevation change and a few ace runs. Still some areas to improve on listed below. Would recommend to anyone who’s in the area as it’s still a great course. Minus a star for missing a practice basket and benches as well as Hole 11/12 where you almost throw into each other Improvements: Practice basket, more benches, some safety nets for tee pads where you can get hit(Hole 11), better parking situation Other Notes: Would recommend playing here during the week as their is hardly any parking on the weekend
@vinthai21
Great course. Don’t let the distances fool you, this course can be tough if you’re not hitting lines.
@halberdisc
Many people are calling this a beginner course, but the fairways are so narrow that I don’t see it as such. I think a beginner will hit every tree in the forest.
@tczyrnik
I use to hate this course. The new layout is great. Pretty tight woods. Some short 180ish and longer 360ish tee shots. Will be a regular spot now!
@paleoprof
Overall it's a great neighborhood course, definitely easier compared to the old layout. It's a great beginner course but challenging enough for intermediate players, advanced players would likely eat it alive. It could use some more benches eventiually but overall it's awesome. I came on a weekend and parking wasn't really an issue. One reviewer complained about wayfinding. I think someone read that and fixed it, lots of arrows now. I never had to look at UDisc for wayfinding.
@adamlarson99
Fun short wooded holes. Mostly putter shots with a few trickier ones
@jstoner
Overall one of the worst 18 hole courses in Charlotte, course design is poor, shot variety sucks, signs seem inaccurate and a lot of the holes seem luck based. Could be a lot better
@rodaniel19
Fun accuracy checker course. Very tight tee shots with decent variety (lots of righty hyzer off the tees). Designed like a beginner course, but extremely punishing if you miss your line.
@llewis100
Was excited to try this course again once it was redesigned from 12 holes to 18. Honestly I was a bit disappointed. It’s an okay course, but a lot of the holes felt forced in their design, especially on the front 9. Not a long course but pretty tight lines. Lots of poison ivy too so watch out.
@davyngraham
Whoever redesigned this course obviously wasn’t thinking. The old course had unique holes and was good for advanced and beginners. The new design is a boring shell of what it used to be and not really even enjoyable.
@buttertrane
The new 18 is super fun! Elevation is used well. 7-9 are great par 3s all in a row. 9 is very pretty. 18 is a great finishing hole for the otherwise short course.

The new layout is much more beginner friendly which will serve the surrounding suburban area well. I’m a big fan of the changes and think the course will get a lot more play because of the facelift. Course is very beginner friendly but still challenging. Fun for players of all skill levels. Good mix of hole shapes with the course favoring righty forehand/ lefty backhand players. Tees are very short but so are most holes so not too big of an issue. New tee signs to come in the near future which will really help tie everything together. Parking can be a bit of a challenge.
@mrutkowski
Just played the new layout this morning and had a great time! Short 18 hole but very technical. All previous holes are changed but the old 11 and 12 remain as 17 and 18. A lot more elevation changes and I will be hunting the ace on the new 11!
@discgolfcraig
Now a short, beginner friendly & casual layout. A tougher version of Crooked Creek.
@bobcatbuckface
Fun layout. Will be a great course to use in the summer because the entire course is shaded. Not super difficult. First 6 holes are really short, 7-18 adds some distance and shot shaping.
